Enshine Bayonet Smart Bulb, B22 WiFi LED Bulb, 15W=100W, 1500LM, 1 Pack

Having experienced some disappointment using the Philips Hue bulbs and finding the constraints of not using a hub, I went back to Enshine. The setup is very straightforward and the Smart Life app is very pleasant to use with dimming the bulb or with automating it to turn on with or at a set interval around sunset along with setting it to turn off automatically at a certain time at night in case you forget to turn it off.Integrating the bulb with Google Home works almost seamlessly. When naming my bulbs in the Smart Life app, Home recognises each bulb and turns them all off or on or does so individually based on voice commands.Additionally, if you use Samsung's SmartThings, you can connect Smart Life so you can then control the bulb through that platform too. In a noisy room where Google Home's voice recognition can be impeded, you can configure a Smart Tag to turn on and off the bulb or brighten/dim it gradually.You can use warm and cool white outputs and choose a big range in between. If I had to name a specific disadvantage against Philips Hue, it's Enshine's colour brightness. Hue's colour brightness is practical for use for the whole room while Enshine's RGB brightness is so dim that it is just a cute novelty.I'm very happy with a much lower cost alternative to Hue, especially with the strong white light output, the ease of set up and the brilliant integration with Google Home. If you have a specific requirement to use the bulbs in RGB colours, these might not be the best option because of the low colour brightness not offering much flexibility.UPDATE: About 11 months after purchase, this bulb has become faulty. Within 5-20 minutes of powering it on, it the bulb loses connectivity and shows as offline in the Smart Life app and it can't be accessed through SmartThings or Google Home. Since it is offline, the schedule to turn the bulb on or off at a given time no longer functions either so it becomes little more than an expensive LED bulb until you turn the light switch off and back on the old-fashioned way, after which it will become online and rejoin your network before repeating the process after 5-20 minutes.I got in touch with the support team and their response was excellent. I followed the troubleshooting tips they gave and when it was confirmed that resetting the bulb didn't resolve the problem, they sent a replacement quickly.

This is an excellent bulb.It was easy to set up with the Amazon echo. Set up was completed in seconds.Nice and bright I didn’t buy it for the colour changes. I bought it for the convenience of calling. Alexa to turn on and off the lights.I am disabled, so it’s very convenient to use this way.The light is in the kitchen and is very bright, just what I needed for food preparation.My friend was so impressed she immediately ordered one while visiting me.

I liked a lot this bulb. Im the type of person that cant awake without the sunrise so this bulb fixed the problem. The app is handy, quite good ui. The bulb it self is really bright which is really good for a single room as a main light. The best functions are routines, changing brightness, changing yellow/white colors and alexa connection. The problem is the color spectrum. Its just useless because they are not bright, the music changing color is also useless. But its a good product for value. Didn't see any problems yet with the bulb as im using it for a couple of weeks but i think it will be durable for a long time.

This was really easy to set up and worked very well.Unfortunately with only very limited use as a garage light it’s failed and will not light up.Update 28.0.23.Following my review, customer services reached out to me within 48 hours, offered an apology and full refund, which I have kindly accepted. It’s good to see that customer services are proactive and extremely helpful.I have re ordered the same product and this is based on my customer service experience as they contacted me proactively. It’s good to see a company willing to be so helpful.

Extremely easy to use, just replace your standard bayonet 240V bulb in a lampshade (screw fitting also available) and manually switch the lamp on. The bulb will start to flash slowly. You then connect to the bulb as you would a WiFi connection, install the Smart Life mobile app and follow the easy steps to pair the bulb. Once connected you can fully control the colour and brightness of the bulb from your phone or tablet, via the app. It is important however to leave the lamp fitting powered on and then use the mobile app to turn it on and off. Setting it up with Alexa or your favourite smart speaker is also straightforward. In the case of Alexa, install the skill "Smart Life", pair it to the app and you're away.The big advantage of this bulb is that it has separate white LEDs to the RGB ones, so in normal white mode you get a really true bright warm or cool white output. At 100% brightness the white mode is similar to a 100W traditional bulb, yet runs much cooler and so can safely be used in a lampshade rated for smaller incadescent bulbs. I find being able to push it up to 100% brightness is great for reading or checking something in more detail, but then dropping it to 20% for warm evening mood lighting. Colour temperature in white mode is variable between warm and cool, including a 'daylight' white. Whilst RGB mode is a lot dimmer than the white mode, it's still ample for mood lighting and is continously variable across the spectrum and in brightness.The true magic of these lamps is to control them from a smart speaker like Alexa and then build them into a routine. This allows you to create 'scenes' with different colour and brightness combinations throughout the room.Time will tell how reliable the bulb will be, but not having to run it at 100% brightness most of the time should prolong the life. Overall though a great smart bulb and extremely good value. Even if you don't use the colour RGB mode, it makes a great dimmable white bulb with smart control.

Difficult to setup. I work in IT, software development and networking, and it is near impossible to get these lights to work. Instructions are poor and conflicting. Instructions for setting up on WIFI, have WIFI enabled. Instructions for setting up Bluetooth, disable WIFI, turn on Bluetooth, turn on WIFI and connect with WIFI, Bluetooth is not available...The strength or connectivity of these bulbs to your WIFI or Bluetooth is near non existent. My router is about 9-10 feet, direct line of sight to the bulb, and the bulb can barely get connected, even then, not consistently. It drops connection, it can be found in a search for the bulb to reinstall, but not for long enough to actually install/setup, the process time-out and you have to start again.Is the bulb not working on your app? You need to remove the bulb from the app and set it up all over again! That also means you have to factory reset the bulb so it doesn't remember the networks.Actually using the bulbs, don't give yourself grief!! I have a physical light switch(as you do in houses) if you turn the bulb off at the switch, when you turn the switch on again, the bulb may not connect to your wifi again until.....you have to install it all over again. I've spent more time in 2 weeks setting the bulbs up, than with lights on in my rooms. I actually went yesterday to a store and bought non-dimmable bulbs just not to be annoyed by these ones.Do you have dimmer switches in your house? Forget these bulbs entirely. When I had the switch turned up to full brightness the bulk kinda worked, with all issues listed up til now. But dimming the bulb with the switch, flickering like a seizure inducing disco. The bulbs can be controlled with the app, or the switch, but not a combination of both.For reference, I had my house rewired, full certified by electricians 3 years ago, everything brand new, not a single wire or socket was not replaced. I have a N-series router (that means all standards of WIFI are compatible for the last 20+ years) which can connect my devices 75ft away in the house. Cant get these bulbs to work day to day or connect in short distances inside the house, not even the same room as the router. Forget about putting a bulb upstairs, it just wont connect.So frustrating. I would have been happier if I never bought these bulbs, even if I got a refund, I'd still have wasted so much time and effort on these it just wouldn't be worth it. Couldn't pay me to try using them.

This bulb was easy to set up and connect to the app. It is really quite bright. However in the app you can alter the temperature of the light to make it easier on the eye. With the app you can switch the bulb on and off remotely - you can also set it to come on and switch off at specified times, very handy if you are away from home. You can also change the colour of the light on the app. Nice.Recomended.

Nice. Music sync is not proper. Other functions are nice.

The smart bulb is not as bright as I'd hoped and the non-white colours are especially dim. If you treat it as a smart bulb without colour changing capabilities, it will do an excellent job.

Installation facile, l'ampoule paraissait bien, belle luminosité et puis apres 35 minutes seulement d'utilisation, un 'clic' et plus rien. Pas solide la LED !!
