Twist the rotary knob to make the opening to open condition, then insert the vent clip into the air vent blade. Twist the rotary knob to make the opening to close condition. Then your vent phone mount will grip on your car air conditioner firmly.

No, the VICSEED metal ring won't block your wireless charging function like other metal plates. I have also provided a video, you can look at this video.
Note: iPhone 12/13/14 series phones and magsafe case uses this car phone holder mount magnetic directly. No need to stick metal ring.
All phones with other cases, need to stick a metal ring on the phone case, don't worry, metal ring won't affect wireless charging.
