I have a small razorback musk turtle in my 21.6ga fish tank. He is fully aquatic but still likes to come out occasionally to bask under his warming light. I really like how it attaches with suction cups so I can put it anywhere near the top of the tank. The suctions cups are strong and I don't worry about the platform coming loose. Another feature my turtle really likes is the "shelves" he can use to climb up as far as he wants. Sometimes he only wants to come part way out and the shelves make that easy for him. I also like the color that looks natural (different colors are available). This is the best basking platform I have found and I highly recommend it for your turtle!

I got 3 because I knew they would be a little small. Raffie absolutely loves the addition.

Ordered this as a ramp for froglets as it was advertised for small turtles and amphibians. The item was placed in our tank for about 1 week. We had one of our tadpoles die unexpectedly and we couldn’t figure out what had happened. I was inspecting the tank closely for clues when I noticed something small and gray in the algae in the tank. I pulled it out and realized it was a small chip of paint that had gotten stuck in our tadpoles’ food source. Of course we immediately removed the platform. As soon as I pulled it from the tank I noted it smelled very chemically and like wet paint. There were multiple places where the paint had chipped off or otherwise been eaten away. Either our item was defective or this is incredibly unsafe to be used in a hybrid wet/dry environment as advertised. We have submitted for a refund with Amazon, done an emergency water change for our remaining tadpole, and inspected the tank carefully to try to suction out as many paint chips as possible without having to completely reset our tank and ecosystem. Praying this is enough and our other tadpole can survive this disaster

We love this and so does our turtle, Squirtle! We catch him taking a swim break up there and sometimes we leave snacks up there for him. He's little, but it's still super easy for him to get up on it and the suction cups hold really well. Highly recommend!

My turtles love it and the suction is great. Even when the water level drops it still stays where it's supposed to.
