Q: Is the pan induction ready?

I have an induction cook top and it does not work with it. I purchased the Cuisinart 10" crepe pan model 623-24. I only got it because someone say it work with their induction cook and though I take a chance and try it, but it didn't work for me, so I will have to return it. That's too bad, I really love Cuisinart cook wear.

Q: how large are the crepes it makes? hot spots?

pretty sure it's a 10" pan, so about 9.5" for useable space. no hot spots - cooks nice and even. they aren't big like you'd find at a crepe stand, but big enough to fold.

Q: Why does this get and stay sticky even after scrubing well and even a layer of baking soda? How do I get this sticky coating off of the pan?

Non-stick pans may become “gummy” if a spray non-stick is used. We recommend minimal oil or butter for this product only. To remove the "gummy" layer, you can fill it with water and a 1/2 cup of white vinegar. Bring this mixture to a boil and the "gummy" residue should float to the top. Skim it off with a paper towel and pour out the liquid. Wash the pan in soapy water, using a nonabrasive cleaning pad. All use and care is included on the packaging of this product and can be found online at www.cuisinart.com.

Q: Question was asked if it could be used on an induction cooktop, but no confirming answer? Anyone know for sure.

I have this pan, and I have an induction range, and I use this pan just fine. I don’t know why others claim it doesn’t work. It is compatible. I love this crepe pan.
