Aquabliss SF400 Daily Revitalize+ Shower Filter - Chrome

I bought this filter because the water in my area has too much chlorine and sediment, which was leaving my hair extremely dry and my skin very dry and irritated. The difference with the Aquabliss SF400 was immediate. Its filtration system noticeably reduces impurities and the double infusion of Vitamin C actually softens the water. From the first few days of use, my hair feels much softer, more manageable and shiny, and my skin no longer gives me that annoying itchy feeling when I come out of bathing. In addition, the chrome finish looks very aesthetic and of good quality. The installation was extremely simple, required no complex tools and best of all, does not reduce the pressure of the shower water at all. An investment that is completely worthwhile for daily self-care.

My showers have never been better! This has been a fantastic shower filter. I’ve used a couple name brands before, but was influenced to buy this one. I have to say, it’s definitely worth it. I can tell just but how easy the instructions were to put it together and how easy it was to connect to the shower because it fit perfectly, this is the best shower filter. It cleans the water extremely well, makes the water smell clean even, and allows for a still great shower water pressure! It wasn’t the most inexpensive item, but I actually felt even for the price of the filter replacements and the filter it was worth the value added. 10/10

Bought the Aquabliss HD Revitalizing High Output Shower Filter Model SF400 in somewhat of a rush after getting increasingly concerned about the quality of my water. Very easy to install...as you can see it attaches to the shower arm just behind your shower head; also works through handheld. My hair and skin right away started feeling more normal. Doing a little more research I kind of wished I had bought the Aquabliss SF500 which is advertised as "Heavy Duty High Output Shower Filter – Latest Superior Advanced 30x Filter Media - Universal Multi-Stage Shower Head Filter for Chemicals, Chlorine, Pesticides". I wrote Aquabliss and asked if I could put an SF500 cartridge in the SF400 hardware I had just bought. Not only did they respond the same day telling me the SF500 cartridge is compatible with my SF400, they also advised me that they had accessed my city's Annual Water Quality Report (and provided a link to the report) and saw that since we had a "relatively high level of chlorine" that the SF500 would be the better cartridge for me. In addition, they attached a 3 page report from an independent lab listing 166 contaminants that the SF500 filtered...almost all of them by 99+%. So, I'm buying an SF500 filter. I am duly impressed by their customer service! I'd highly recommend their SF500. (If you're deciding between the 400 and 500, I'd contact Aquabliss for suggestions based on facts specific to your location/situation.)

This is my first experience with this sort of filter. It arrived in tact with all the parts that are supposed to be there. It was nice to see extra sediment pads and screen washers. However, once I had the filter installed, I tested it and found that it was leaking from the housing where the two halves of the housing fit together. It was super hard to unscrew the housing to find out what the issue was. I was able to put some vaseline around the "O" ring and wrapped a minimum of three layers of teflon tape around the housing threads. That seems to have done the trick. I haven't used it in an actual shower yet, so we'll see better in the morning. I'll use it for a while and perhaps add more to this post once I see how good it treats my hair (beard) and skin.

The skin is much smoother and softer using this shower filter.

I purchased this in December, installed it in January.. everything worked fine until today when water started shooting out everywhere at the point where the rubber gasket connects with the outside casing of the filter. The rubber gasket was actually bulging out out of the side. The gasket itself does not appear to be damaged in any way and no reason for it to pop out like that all attempts to realign both sides of the filter case have been unsuccessful, which have to reinstall, and the water is still dripping out at a high rate.. now that I have done a bit more research on complaints that are outside of Amazon I see that this is a known and constant problem with this product at approximately six months, which is where I am now. It is too late for me to return or get a refund. The only way to contact customer support is an internal message in their website which I will try, but I’m not sure if anyone will get back to me. I just want to warn other people that are considering this product or maybe within the six month window and don’t have any problems yet to be aware of this. As a side note, I did not notice any physical difference in the quality of the water from what we had before, and it did noticeably reduce our water pressure.

I spent quite some time researching shower head filters, and the filtration media used in them, before ordering this AquaBliss SF400 filter. The AquaBliss has a good looking case in addition to being really good at filtration. The filter is well built and does not have a notable impact on water flow. A winner on all counts! - My water company changed something about a year ago and my water has had an odd smell to it ever since. After showering I could smell this odor on my skin, so I decided to get a shower filter. This SF400 filter has removed all but the slightest hint of this mystery odor while showering, and I no longer smell any chlorine at all. Really, my water has almost no odor at all now - and that was my objective! The filtration media in the SF400 is very complete, including filtration for various levels of sediment, THM, lime, scale, and chlorine. The filter also includes a very effective redox media made from copper and zinc. In addition to removing the stuff you don't want in your water, the filter also adds some stuff to it that you do want - such as Vitamin C, zeolite, and tourmaline. I wasn't looking for these water treatments in a filter, but I am certainly not opposed! One of my major concerns with a shower filter was losing overall water pressure to the shower head as my home’s water pressure is already mediocre. The SF400's "high flow" claims along with the quality media inside attracted me to this filter. I was unable to confirm what the gallons-per-minute (GPM) or pressure loss was from using this filter would be before buying it, but I was able to calculate the impact after installation. I measured out 5 gallons of water into a bucket and marked it off. I then timed how long it took to fill the bucket before and after the filter install to determine the GPM loss from the filter. The results surprised me. With just a bare pipe, I have a GPM of 3.53. With just the filter installed, the GPM dropped to 3.13. That means with my 55 PSI water pressure I only have an 11% loss in GPM using this filter. That's impressive because 100% of the water passes through the SF400 filter (there is no bypass). But more importantly, after installing the shower head on the filter, the pressure loss was effectively non-existent! My shower head without the filter installed was providing 2.62 GPM. After the filter was installed, I got 2.5 GPM. This means that the shower head itself was the long pole in the tent in restricting water flow. This also means that this filter has enough water flow to fully power a 2.5 GPM shower head - even with mediocre water pressure! Overall, the AquaBliss SF400 filter is very impressive and has met or exceeded all of my expectations and is highly recommend.

Easy to install; harder to install so it doesn't leak. I took the halves apart before installing to make sure I could. Unfortunately, once installed, that is where the leak was. Retightened and reinstalled several times until the leak was just a drip. I figured as the filter flushed more; the leak would stop. We'll see. I didn't notice any difference in the water pressure, but I also didn't notice any difference in the water. Time will tell

If you buy this you won't need clarifying shampoo, this product remove all the dirt and chlorine from the water. My hair now is soft and shiny as if i have conditioner on ✨✨💓. Before, the hard water made my hair be frizzy with squeaky sounds from the dryness and chlorine build up. Now it's so soft and my skin is clear. Been using it for years now ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Excellent product

After 6 months of usage, it's time to replace the filter. However, most probably due to some corosion or not sure what is the issue, you cannot open it to replace the filter. So i bought a new one. The new one came in and i still cannot open the filter. You end up buying new one every 6 months instead of just buying the replacement filter.

This shower filter does absolutely nothing that is claimed in the advertisement. I waited to see if there was any improvement in removing the harsh mineral content of the water and nothing whatsoever changed. I know this is a water issue because when visiting another country and using the shower there 2x per day. My skin and hair were 100% improved. Other reviewers often rate this filter based on functionality rather than effectiveness. Very disappointed.
