Works really well - I will re-order when I’m out
This is similar to superglue, but it’s made for shoes so it’s not runny it holds better. It does say to let it dry overnight.. I will keep this on hand. I used it to glue the leather soul on sandals that were detaching from the shoe when I was traveling.. we glued together and happen to have a small clamp- it was great in the morning and will probably not require me taking it anywhere to get fixed.

Does what it promises
I have a pair of Scarpa boots fitted with Vibram soles that are around 8 years old. Over that time they have become extremely comfortable. As a lot of my walking is off road, the soles have a considerable amount of wear left in them and the uppers remain in excellent condition. However a few weeks ago the rubber edging strip on one boot started to come away from the upper and then the toe of the sole on the other boot became separated from the upper. As the soles have a lot of wear left I was reluctant to send them off for re-soling and due to lockdown the local cobbler is shut, so a DIY repair was my first choice. After reading reviews of a number of products and speaking with friends who had used some with no success, I decided to give Boot-Fix Shoe glue a try. Other reviewers have commented that the amount you get for your money is tiny. This may appear to be the case, but the reality is that you only need to use a very small amount. I glued both boots and used about 20% of the glue. I found you need to apply pressure for longer than the instructions say. Working my way around the rubber side trim took about 10 minutes in total. However the repair appears to be very good. Since gluing them I have walked over 100 miles in both dry and very wet and muddy conditions and the repair is as good as when first done. The only comment I would make is that where some of the glue oozed above the rubber side seal it dried white. This appears to be purely cosmetic and I suspect would pick off if I wanted to. Therefore from my experience thus far, this product is definitely worth a try in the first instance.

Almost instantaneous and durable bond if held tight 1-2 minutes.
A truly excellent and durable bonding agent. Have used it for well over 10 years to bond shoe soles, put ceramic and glass pieces back together (they have to fit perfectly for this to work, no missing little pieces), nylon webbing on lawn chairs, tiny plastic parts for swim goggles, stuffed animal toys, broken plastic on car glove box, sandel straps, drier lint filter, etc. YOU MUST HOLD IT TIGHT WITHOUT MOVEMENT, for 90-120 seconds. Either it holds immediately after 2 mins. or not (does not work on a very few plastics). It dries upon tight contact, but it dries very slowly without being pressed to something. Don't get your fingers glued together! Keep it a long time in the refrigerator.
