This stuff works!!
I have an acre of property and have been trying for 3 years to get rid of fire ants. Got this stuff and (it took 7 cans) applied it, then noticed the less ant piles a few days after applying the first time reapplied to the fewer piles, then few days later literallly had just a couple of small ones..applied it and haven’t seen any more!!! This is how I applied it…. I would carry the bottle as I mowed and when I seen one I would apply it and go around the mound👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Works better than any other I've tried.
I have used about everything made attempting to at least control fire ants near where they first came to the U.S. This product did the job where so many failed miserably. It took diligence but finally for now..no fire ant hills are in my yard. I found that Bengal would kill the mound with no secondary one made, and sometimes another would pop up a couple feet away in a few days. It does not work overnight. For me it took at least three days for the mound to be done with. Each morning for over two weeks I went on fire ant patrol lightly dusting any existing or new mounds. Every few days there were less mounds with a starting count of 15. Today...even after a rain that usually gets them going I can't find a mound outside. They will be back..no doubt..but this stuff for me works better than any other brand and cheaper too because I found the less I used per mound the better it worked. Just a very light dusting did the trick.

This stuff is amazing. It is the only ant killer compound that ...
I have tried many, many brands of ant killer from building supply and farm supply stores with limited success, and finally discovered this brand carried in of all places my local Kroger store. I noted that this was formulated and produced in the State of Louisiana which borders my State of Mississippi. This stuff is amazing. It is the only ant killer compound that really, really works and in a matter of 24 hours time. After poking a small hole in the top of the ant mound to cause the ants to swarm out, simply lightly dust the ants as they emerge from the top of mound. No need for watering either as with other brands which I found ineffective. It will kill the entire colony including the queen and the ants will not reappear. Apparently because the residents of Louisiana have such a severe ant problem they came up with something that solves the problem. Must be "Cajun Common Sense". I am grateful to have found this product.

I like that you don't have to "water it in"
I didn't receive this item and my money was returned. I did buy this product from a store and it works very well. I like that you don't have to "water it in".

This stuff works!!!
I was desperate living in a drought area and the fire ants will do anything to get in your house to find water. I asked my family and my sister in law swore by this stuff. I figured I would try. We had NO issues after using this! And we usually have major issues and have to spot treat once the infestation has already happened. Profesional exterminators didn't get these results. I will never use anything else!

Follow directions closely!!! Disturb the mounds!!
The directions for most fire ant killers direct that you do NOT disturb the mound, but Ultradust 2x says that you have to disturb the mound (e.g., poke it with a stick) so that the ants swarm. I didn't notice this direction until after I had treated a dozen mounds in a currently-unused pasture. On the next half dozen mounds, I disturbed the mounds as directed. Three days later, the first dozen mounds are still covered with the Ultradust, but the mounds are alive and well and actually quite a bit bigger. Of the half dozen that were disturbed as required, four mounds appear to be dead and the last two appear much less active (but still have ants). Today I went back to the first dozen, which still were covered with the Ultradust powder, and poked them until the ants swarmed. I will update with the results.
