What kind of warranty does Moen offer?

My experience with Moen is that if you have a problem, they will send a replacement part. That's why I looked only at Moen when I needed a new faucet.

Does soap load from on top ?

The soap dispenser included with the Moen 87014SRS Essie Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Spot Resist Stainless with Soap Dispenser, Spot Resist Stainless is filled from the top of the counter, not by going under the sink. does the faucet manually work without batteries?

No it does not. I thought it would, but when I hooked it up I didn’t have batteries. I had to go out and buy them in order for anything to work.

Does the spray button stays on without holding it down?

Yes it does. To turn it back off you either turn the water off or switch the button again.
