Kale Razor - Kale and Herb Stripping Tool - Made in the USA from Stainless Steel - Perfect for removing stems from Herbs & Kale

I love this. I'll go over two aspects of the product that in my opinion serve two different and useful functions. 1. The kale cutting slot - Used to slice the kale off the stems. This works VERY well, and in my opinion of this little tool did just this, I'd be happy to buy it all over again. Prepping my kale ahead of time means I'm eating more of it and more often. 2. The herb trimming holes -Used to remove leaves from herbs. I can only speak about cilantro, but for this task it works well. I find a tugging movement with some larger pieces to be more effective than just pulling the stems, but bottom line is that I was able to prep a considerable ammount of fajita marinade quite fast.

I make gazpacho pasta a lot during the summer and use cilantro. I despise chopping it. This thing made it SO MUCH EASIER. It's great quality and truly takes the muss and fuss out of making cold summer soups and salads. So far, I have only used it on cilantro but I would guess it will work on other hers as well. Cilantro is pretty stringy and it worked. It is marketed as a kale razor and I make kale chips but have not used it for that yet.

I had been wanting one of these for ages & finally got around to getting one. I had imagined being able to feed my thyme or cilantro into one of the holes & just pulling it through with the herb leaves falling nicely onto my cutting board ready to be chopped. Unfortunately, even while pulling gently, the herb stalks just break & I'm stuck with a few leaves jammed into the hole. Frankly, it's easier & quicker to just pinch the leaves off the stems with my fingers. Oh well!

Good for its stated purpose of stripping kale. However, it's not as effective as other products in stripping herbs such as thyme - mostly because it doesn't have a small enough hole.

The stainless steel construction is definitely better than its plastic counterparts. It is a handy device, but has its limitations. While it does speed up de-stemming of some vegetables and herbs, there is little to no benefit in de-stemming thyme and sometimes rosemary.

What a great and handy little product for someone who uses a lot of herbs and greens. I've been using this daily since I got it and it does simplify my routine. Highly recommended

Doesn’t really work great. I ended up going back to using my knife.
