I have a condition called Sjögren's syndrome. It is an autoimmune disorder that among other things, causes extremely dry mouth. These XyliMelts have a pleasant taste, are effective at keeping one's mouth moist, and doesn't cause tooth decay since it has no sugar. These were recommended to me by my medical doctor. They are not a cure, but they really help manage the symptoms. I find them to be a good value and the melts last a good while, dissolving slowly. They neither have nor cause odor. If you have dry mouth problems, good luck, and I hope you find these as helpful as they are to me.

This product is hands down better than all the other similar products (I have tried them all). None of the others stick to your gums to prevent choking. I highly recommend this product. It comes in slightly sweet and mint (light mint flavor). It is not sticky unless you remove it manually immediately after it adheres to the gum. It really relieves the dry mouth very well. I use it every night to prevent waking up with the cotton mouth feeling. It is very effective. It improves my sleep due to my mouth not getting so dry.

Can’t live without these especially with wearing Invisalign. Dry mouth all the time. Provides great relief, my mouth feels moist and fresh with the mint taste. I have learned to sleep with them every night so I don’t need water by my bed. They are effective and worth getting used to.

I chose mild mint flavor. The taste is great. It took care of my dry mouth. It sticks to the side of your mouth so you can use it while you’re sleeping. I didn’t feel like I was going to choke. I liked it better than the mouth spray.

First Rating: I bought a small packet of these and used them for 3 or 4 nights. They work so well I ordered this bulk bottle of them. They DO stick to my gums and they DO melt slowly during the night. I use a CPAP machine and had a rough time with dry mouth, so these tablets are a solution for me. By the way, there are different brands of this type of product. I stuck with Oracoat because their product descriptions made sense and the wording was professionally done. Second Rating: My views above have not changed. This product WORKS, and was the solution to a major issue. The vendor delivers as prescribed and on time. Third Rating: I still use this product and will continue using it. However, some notes / caveats; Ensure that you are using OraCoat, because I can't speak for the other manufacturers. My method works for me too. My method is to stick the pill to my cheek, not the gums. Put it high up into the cheek. Hold it there with your finger, with no movement, for about 7-8 seconds. When you let go and close you mouth, ensure that pill did not move. If it did, reposition and repeat. Next I do the other side in the same way. By paying to attention to these details, I will get around five to six hours of moisture. I know this because I have been using Xylimelts with CPAP for about 3 years and I will wake up at least once during the night, sometimes more. Now to another point. I have found that by using this product consistently over maybe 18 months, I began to feel irritation in the gums and cheek. I now switch back and forth between Xylimelt pills and Biotene liquid. The Biotene doesn't last as long for me as do the pills, but it still works. I could always use a second rinse during the night, but so far I haven't. So, to summarize, the Xylimelt is a solution for me and I still give it 5 stars. Why ? Biotene is not a complete solution for me, and I have not heard about any other product that matchs what Xylimelt combined with Biotene can do for me.

We love these for nightime. Wish they didn’t stop making the cinnamon, but we like the mint anyway. Excellent for dry mouth esp at night! Too expensive though.

I have used this product for years. I know of no side effects. Like the minty taste. I don't swallow them. They hold up sufficiently to help with my dry mouth.
