I've tried all types of products to help with flakiness, itchiness, irritation, etc. Wasn't sure if it was dry scalp or dandruff so I was definitely experimenting for a minute. Nothing truly relieved all of it for more than a day after using, even medicated shampoos.. nada. I stayed consistent using this at least once or twice a week and after a month I really noticed improvements in all areas 🙌 When I say I was flakey, I mean I could graze my hand over the top of my head lightly and it'd look like snow falling. I didn't know what was going on but it was becoming really frustrating with my scalp being constantly irritated and white flakes everywhere in which I couldn't escape. So when I noticed the slightest improvement I was thrilled! As for the product itself: There is a scent, I personally think it smells so so good! I don't think it lingers very long though, especially it being applied only to your scalp so thats a plus for those who may not like the smell but sees benefits to the product itself. I will say to make sure you really rub it into your scalp because if you miss a spot or don't spread it out thoroughly, it will feel a bit greasy once your hair dries. Otherwise it doesn't leave any type of greasy residual feeling to your hair, as long as you make sure to rub it in fully 👍 A bottle lasts me usually a few months. The way I apply it is down the middle, 2 spaced out lines going back on each side of the middle, lines above the ears to meet in the back, & then two more lined sections across going down towards the base of my hairline. I always apply it right after showering, its easier to navigate while hair is still pretty wet in my opinion. The only times I see flakes or am itchy now is when its been days (ranging from 3-7) of no hair washing, if I aggressively scratch my scalp, or if I've sweat a lot. I do have some psoriasis & while it obviously doesn't cure that, it relieves the itch tremendously along with my overall dry scalp. It is much more controlled, rarely bothers me anymore. It is pricey but for me its so worth it with the lack of flakes and irritation its brought me. This product is the only thing that has actually worked for me after at least 2 years worth of trying out other options so if you're willing to be consistent to use it at least once a week for a period of time, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try!

I was hesitant due to the price point but it was absolutely worth it for me. Focusing on scalp health/hydration to get my hair growing. This serum works and it does not ruin your hair for the day by making it look greasy as some of the other products I have tried. Its a thicker formula so it does not run all over the place when you're applying, you can dab on and rub in with your fingers. Nice light scent, after you dry your hair you wont even know its there.

This product is amazing! The second you first apply it, there's immediate relief of itching and irritation. Within 3 applications, my scalp is significantly improved. Smells great and is non-greasy. I love it!!

I Love all of Living Proofs clean products and I bought this for my very dry scalp, which is to be applied to wet clean hair serval times a week and in way too many areas of the hair according to the directions, which makes it a very expensive treatment. It’s weightless and doesn’t have a scent that’s noticeable or irritating and it’s very easy to apply and rub into my scalp. I have noticed a decrease in the amount of dryness and flakes, but I haven’t quite figured out all the right places or the perfect amount to use and I don’t always wash my hair as often as suggested for application. However in the front of my hair where the dryness was terrible and flakes were evident they have decreased with use. I recommend if you can afford it and follow the application suggestions, for me I am still trying to find the correct balance.

My scalp was getting increasingly itchy from the dryness that increases as you get older. I tried a couple of oils, but may hair got greasy from these. Plus the itch continued. Living Proof Scalp Care has been a miracle. It reduced my itchiness significantly in just two treatments and now, five treatments (after hair washing) later, my scalp isn’t itchy at all. I highly recommend this product! It’s pricey, but it works and should last a long time.

Ok am currently taking meds which make me lose my hair ( but not chemo lose it )- so I use the living proof line and love it. I am almost done with this tube and am undecided as to effectiveness. I will update. June- I believe it helped. My hair is much better and no itchy scalp! Definitely 4 ⭐️’s

I was skeptical at first but this stuff really works. I applied it every other day after using the exfoliator and my dry scalp cleared in about two weeks. No more itching and flaky scalp. Magic!

I have suffered with really bad dandruff since moving states . This product saved my scalp and helped me regain my confidence with my hair again. I was able to wear my hair down. I stopped using the product for a while and my dandruff disnt come back mean. I would 10/10 recommend

I’ve struggled with dry scalp all of my life. I’ve had to wash my hair every 1 or 2 days to prevent visible spots on my scalp from showing up. I’ve tried everything, from expensive shampoos and conditioners, herbal remedies, hair oils, everything. This is the only thing to cure my dry scalp. I literally apply this once a week after I wash my hair, maybe twice if I sweat a lot. And that’s it. Not one flake or itch. I apply some argon oil as well (out of habit) about twice a week. This thing is like magic, I’ve been using it for about 3 months now and feel like I’ve never had dry scalp. It’s a bit pricy, but a bottle lasts about 2 months for me, (I have very short hair) plus reduces the amount of other products I need to use like hair oils, so ultimately I think it’s worth it. If you struggle with dry scalp I strongly recommend giving it a try.

Ayant un psoriasis que seule l'huile de ricin réussissait à calmer (pas très pratique quand je veux éviter de faire un shampoing), ce sérum m'a très très agréablement surprise ! Je l'utilise depuis quelques mois et j'ai vraiment l'impression que ça a drastiquement calmé mes démangeaisons (je précise quand même que j'ai également changé de shampoing à cette période donc je ne saurais pas dire si c'est l'un, l'autre ou les deux produits en même temps qui ont réussi cet exploit). En plus de me sembler efficace, il a un bon parfum, ne rend pas le cheveux gras (à condition de ne pas en appliquer une trop grosse quantité), est facile à appliquer... Très bonne découverte, je recommande !
