I'm getting rpm readings that vary widely in rpm mode with the cup tip, including readings above the 19999 rpm limit. any ideas how to troubleshoot?

The unit came with two wheels, which wheel is for metric and which is for standard?

Make sure to select 6" perimeter from the options: Use the manual to set. You have the option of 6",12" or 0.1m. The unit came with a wheel 6 inch circumference wheel. That is the one used to measure ft/min, ft/sec in/min. To find out which one use a ruler, place a mark on the outside of the wheel. Then set the mark at 0" on the ruler and role it to 6". The mark should end up at 6" on the ruler. The 2 small wheels are used to measure RPM
