TempPro TempAir Bluetooth Digital Hygrometer Indoor Thermometer of 260FT

I was kind of skeptical this would work given the price but it is amazing. It tracks the temperature and humidity in my greenhouse. I can check it from inside the house. It has allowed me to fine tune the heating in my greenhouse by monitoring temperature fluctuations over the course of the day. It is easy to use, was relatively easy to connect to my iPad (I suggest doing the initial set up with your phone, tablet or computer in close proximity. After that you should be able to check it from a distance.) The signal can’t be accessed from the front of my house (which would require the signal to pass thru a wooden greenhouse wall, an external porch wall and an interior house wall that is tiled) but if I move within about 20 feet in my house, it will update with no problem. For the price and functionality, I am very happy. It’s been running for about a month and has used less than 1/2 the battery, which given that it continuously tracks temperature and humidity, seems pretty good. It sits on a shelf in my greenhouse but also has a way to hang it from a nail or hook.

Love this little device. Just works out of the box, no app needed. It's nice and compact but it has a stand, a magnet, and a hanging hole. Worth the price just for the quality of the device alone but then it also has a great app. It's super simple to add it to the app and it doesn't even require making an account. And then it logs all of the data and it can be exported too. I love just having the raw data to do whatever I want with. The only potential issue is the lack of more advanced features such as backlight and on-device alerts but this same company has other models if you need that.

I needed to get a thermometer for my bedroom, because we don't have a working central AC system in our house right now. Comparing this thermometer to a nearby thermostat, it is indeed very accurate, down to the decimal. Accurate and consistent with no massive fluctuations. As for the humidity gauge, I compared it to another hydrometer in the house and it was about 2-5% off the other hydrometer which is in the range of their advertised accuracy. So no complaints with the consistency side of things, but there are some small complaints I have: -Sometimes the app takes a while to load data. -The heat index featured only in the app itself seems to only start applying when the temperature in the area reaches 80F(27C) in my experience. Im not sure how it starts to calculate a heat index, but it does indeed work. -Notifications only notify when you launch the app (this might be an iPhone problem though.) -If you use this in a room with a window AC unit, like I do, the humidity sensor might go a bit haywire, but it will still stay within accurate measurements. Example, first night with this device in my bedroom, the humidity went from 58% to 54% back to 58% to 56% etc every so often all night. In all, very happy with this purchase. Was really cheap too! Just goes to show you dont need to spend $15+ just for a simple thermometer/hydrometer.

I love this TP357 temperature sensor. It is so much smaller than I expected though. I've had other versions in the past that were larger, so I think I was just expecting those sizes. I actually like how small this is. Seems perfectly efficient to show what it does in the small size. The other models have larger screens that show max and min data if you want that at first glance, but I just go to the app for the history. I also love that it has a magnet on the back in addition to the little kick stand. I used to have the old school versions with no Bluetooth, and would never go back. It's a game changer to be able to have a real time history of the temperature changes and the Bluetooth connection allows for quick review of all the data in the app. You can also export the data quickly and easily. The reason I love this one over the other new ones with Bluetooth is that it displays the temperature prominently on top and is also a larger font size display than the humidity number below. The TP359 version seems nice enough, but I hate that the humidity is displayed at the top. I constantly have to look twice because I naturally look at the top number expecting temperature. I don't know anyone that cares more about humidity than temperature. The temperature should always be the number displayed at the top of the display and I hope they update their other models to do this as well.

excellent product. accurate. versatile. durable. longlasting. bluetooth range is great. i can see the temp on my ground floor, sitting in the basement. the temp and humidity alerts are invaluable. the charts and data export features are also very useful. i greatly appreciate that i can use rechargeable AAA batteries in this thermometer, and that it's not outfitted with that dreaded custom lithium battery that lot of electronics makers use that render their product a one-time use, disposable product. i've owned several thermopro thermometers over the last 5 years or so, with previous versions of the tp 357 and also their cooking thermometers. they have all performed flawlessly over this period. no issues at all. i'd give this company 10 stars for product longevity if i could. this product's excellence is only matched by the company's stellar customer service. the luxury of being able to speak to a live person in customer service is a rare one these days. but not only do you get to speak to intelligent, informed, technically proficient and friendly customer service people at thermo pro, they are very easy to reach - (no long hold times or complicated automated phone routines). oh btw the company is based in the US, as is the customer service which is a total bonus. in this day and age, its almost impossible to find longlasting, durable products. and to actually have easily accessible, responsive customer service too.... is just icing on the cake.

This is a spectacular deal at the price. You are getting a lot of software for free as well as the measuring device itself. This thing saves me the trouble of entering data into a excel sheet. It will compute MAX/MIN points at any user selected point time span and record up to one year. I notice other reviewers have comments about Bluetooth range but for me I am using an iPad over 60' and thru one exterior wall and have no issues. They only minor con is that when compared to a NIST calibrated bulb thermometer, it is reading from .5 to 1.0 degree low. I am surprised, considering the considerable software effort they expended on this thing, that they have not included a calibrate adjustment feature. The mfg spec of 3" square is just flat wrong. I measure the exterior case at: 2-3/8Wx2-1/8Hx3/4D and the screen at: 1-7/7Wx7/8H. This is not an issue for me, but the screen is a rather low contrast LCD and you may have trouble reading it in certain lighting conditions. But at the price this thing is rather amazing and you might want to try one to see if it works for your application. Also the software allows you to monitor several of them, which opens up the possibility of placing them around your house at various points to get a handle on HVAC differentials. In short, this thing is potentially very useful, not something you can say for all such low priced consumer measurement devices. I have a friend with a +$300 Davis Instrument, that isn't as well done!

It was easy enough to set up with my android phone, but every time I launch the app it takes several seconds to show current temperature, and then when I select the device to get the historical chart (day/week/year) it takes several more seconds. The chart first shows whatever it had last time, which is misleading and you have to stare at this old chart for several seconds before you get to see the new chart. There's nothing on the chart to suggest the data is old, you just have to 'know'. The 'day' chart can be zoomed, but the week and year charts cannot. I think the phone is forever retrieving all the data from the device each and every time. Also, the day view only shows the current day, and the week view only shows the current week. Only the 'year' view gives a decent history, and you can't view or export the data - just view it in the chart on the phone. Update - beware that all your historical data is stored on the device. My battery died (after several months), and when I put the new battery in, there was NO history to be viewed at all.

Great product. Compact and works well in room for Baby. Has the smiley face when temp and humidity is at comfort level for baby. Connects to iPhone as-well so you can check it through Bluetooth if you’re not in the room when baby is asleep. Deffinately recommend!

I am not able to connect my thermopro device with the application. The app is not able to search the device.

I picked up this ThermoPro TP357 digital hygrometer and thermometer, and it has been a fantastic addition to the house. The Bluetooth connection and smart app make it incredibly convenient to check the temperature and humidity right from my phone. It is compact, the screen is very easy to read, and it updates quickly to reflect any changes. Las mediciones se muestran exactas y la conexión con la aplicación es muy sencilla de hacer. El dispositivo es de tamaño pequeño pero la pantalla es de muy buen tamaño. Creo que es un buen dispositivo para medir la humedad en las habitaciones. Sí lo recomiendo.
