It keeps my laptop very cool! It does make quite a bit of noise while it is running. But, it does do what it is meant to do...keeping my laptop cool.

This works great, I love that it actually has a knob to adjust the strength of the fan. What I wasn't too crazy about (and why I took a star away) is the adhesive to stick to the laptop. It is too narrow and more like a strip for it to really stay on- mine fell off, so I got a better adhesive that covered more of the base that can stick to and support the laptop better for it to stay on better.I would recommend it because it works much better than the $25-$30 fans, but I would suggest buying a double side wider adhesive to support the fan better!

Cooled my laptop super quick! But the unit lasted only 3 days. And the fan made a very loud grinding noise. So I took it off my laptop and threw it in my closet. The bearings might of been worn or defective. I bought a Ikross 4 fan laptop cooler for $16 here on Amazon. So far 2 weeks and everything works super quiet!

I didn't see many reviews for the "1 fan" vacuum cooler as this is bundled with the 4 fan cooling pad. It was pretty cheaply priced but there weren't any real pictures or reviews of it. I thought I'd give it a shot anyway and leave my own review. Well, you get what you pay for. It's cheaply made and the attachment to the laptop is terrible, really terrible. It's attached by a thin piece of plastic and a small adhesive strip which I guess is supposed to keep it in place. If you lift the laptop up, the weight of the fan would cause it to either come off/or angles the silicone in a way creates a separation in the seal between the silicone and laptop.As far as cooling, I'd say it does a good job when attached properly and there is a noticeable difference in temp but too hard to keep on.Update: After a couple days, the adhesive separated from the laptop, half of it staying on the plastic piece, the other on the laptop. Terrible design. Will be sending back

My review is for the single fan, vacuum type cooler.This product looked and sounded very promising when I was looking for a cooling solution for my aging laptop. The cooling stand I was using did next to nothing. This was a good price so I thought I'd give it a shot.It does a very nice job cooling my laptop! This thing moves air through the case and keeps the entire surface relatively cool to the touch. I had been experiencing shut downs due to extreme temperatures prior to using this, and not one since!It is a little tricky to keep in place, the small section of adhesive doesn't really work with my laptop, but you may have more success with your unique application. The unit that I received is also a bit temperamental when it comes to noise...sometimes it purrs along nicely and all you hear is typical fan noise, other times it's like a swarm of angry bees and sounds like it's got square bearings.The bottom line is that this product cools like it says it will, even when the bees are angry.

First impressions... it is a very underrated product.. I don't know about its durability or longevity (will update if anything changes) but for now... this works like a breeze... my laptop which I use both for video rendering and gaming (heavily I must mention) this thing... on just 50% knob rotation.. keep my laptop processor at 40 to 44 Celsius...

So far, so good although it took a bit of finagling to get just the right angle of attachment. I have an ASUS gaming laptop with 2 exhausts in the rear. Because of the shape of the machine, I had to rig props to get a really tight fit. It looks kind of mickey mouse but it works and since this machine is essentially a desk top replacement (as in I almost never move it) I don't mind the rigging. For those reviewers who claim that these don't reduce the temp any or hardly any, perhaps the problem is that you don't have a really tight seal over the exhaust which is essential for these to work properly. That was my problem at first. As long as there is any space between the fan and your laptop exhaust you'll run into this problem. Anyway these reduce the temp by about 15 to 20 degrees depending on the ambient room temperature which is great. Hope they don't weaken and/or die on me as other brands have done. One star off for having to work at getting the attachment just right.

Does not work. Plugged in via usb, tried all different ports and it barely spins and is loud. Don't buy this product. Replacing the fan in your laptop is cheaper and will work longer. This isn't even a reasonable substitute while you wait on a fan. Does not cool, is completely useless and just adds a huge piece to the outside of your laptop.
