Holds well and quick.
Used to help repair carpet I had to cut to fix underlayment. The glue holds quick and tight. After applying, I stepped along the repair for a moment to press down the carpet and I was unable to pull the carpet off. This is single sided (as it says in the description), meant only to hold the carpet together, not to the floor. Be careful putting it under the carpet as it holds fast and can't be pulled off. I only used short sections at a time to help prevent the tape from grabbing the carpet before I was ready and it worked fine.

This was a great buy. I used it to put two cut hall rugs together and its holding up really well. Since my cut followed the pattern on the rug- was not a straight cut, I used two strips of this tape on the backing. No edges fraying and the seams are holding tight together. Easy to work with, I've never done this before but its worked great.
