TRUEplus Glucose Tablets, Orange Flavor, 3 Bottles

I used to get these tablets in the little tubes but to be honest it was always difficult to get the plastic wrapper off the tubes so you could get to the tablets. These are in a nice bottle with an easy-to-screw-off lid that makes a lot more sense. When I feel I need a little glucose I take two of these and feel so much better. They also taste amazing in the orange flavor! ~The Rebecca Review P.S. I am not a doctor, nor is this review medical advice but I am finding these tablets are also good for "shock" from losing my beloved cat. So if anything bad happens these might be good to have on hand for shock that used to be treated with sugar water when I was a kid.

I keep a bottle or two in my car in case of a hypoglycemic episode.

I use these when I notice my glucose levels dropping. Also, used them when I was unable to have only clear liquids prior to a procedure & then when I was unable to have anything for at least 3 hours prior to the procedure. I was able to maintain good glucose levels prior to procedure. Like the taste

product is perfectly fine but there's a packaging issue with the most recent bottle. mine arrived with a sticker over the cap in addition to the usual plastic safety wrap. i mean, you should always open your emergency glucose tablets as soon as they arrive anyway because when you're hypoglycemic you'll be screwed trying to break into them. but THIS is really not good. i have weak fingernails and if my blood sugar was at 53 or something i'd be passed out on the floor before getting through this sticker holding the wrapping down.

Very palatable, not as icky when you need glucose quickly.

My son has type 1 diabetes. I can’t keep candy in the house because he’s 14 and he will just sneak it until it’s gone and then it’s not there when he has a rogue low bg. These are nice because they’re just tasty enough to be edible, he says they taste good. But they’re not so tasty that he eats them all like candy. They showed up as fast as most Amazon packages, the 3 pack lasted us about a year and it’s a far better value than shopping locally. A similar product is about 50% cheaper at Walmart but I don’t shop at Walmart and the Amazon product is cheaper than the local pharmacies and shows up at your door step.

These glucose tablets are a life saver, literally. I have reactive hypoglycemia, and have had blood glucose levels of 40. When it gets that low, I cannot function at all Fortunately I have learned the symptoms when it is coming on, and can usually take these glucose tablets to reverse the insulin dump and blood glucose crash before it hits full force. My wife and granddaughter who lives with us also are trained to recognize the symptoms and know what to do.
