I don’t know if they are specifically for credit cards but their are two 5” x 2” slots under the zippered front you could put credit cards in.

Length of shoulder strap?

The strap is adjustable so you could wear it across the body or over the shoulder. If there was a way to unhook one end, it would be about 55 inches long at the longest setting. Hope that helps. I love this bag.
