Very good. The 10-inch sewing scissors are sharp, comfortable to hold, and cut fabric cleanly and smoothly. Bought these to cut r-15 insulation for the tiny home we are building. Worked great. Good quality, easy to hold with arthritic hands. Doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. The little snips are nice as well. Reasonably priced.

These scissors are extremely aweso.e , we got them because we wanted to change how the canvas was on our popup camper, and these made quick work of what we were cutting, they cut perfectly and no pulling or snagging, heavy duty scissors , better if used by men because of bigger hands but , still a great pair of scissors , would recommend and definitely buy again!

Beautiful craftsmanship!! Reminiscent of scary movie shears. Comfortable grip and ease of use. The small tool is sharp, nimble and ready for action. Both offer smooth even cuts through fabric like butter everytime. My new favorite duo.

The scissors are sharp and very comfortable to use. However, I am deducting one star because they are marketed as “Japan Traditional Hand-made Steel,” which can be misleading and make you think they are authentic Japanese scissors, when in fact they are Made in China.

I was dubious about the quality of these shears having bought the first pair as a trial due to the economic price and full metal appearance and description. Given the price at less than half of what they are worth (easily). I would pay 35 bucks for these (now). If made here in the US they'd be 50 bucks. These are impressive sewing shears (ie cutting large areas and raw "from the bolt" cuts and large pattern multiple layer cuts of fabric. If you wanted to use them for paper or fabric... they are frankly overkill, but at this price why not. They would not be great for small and for detailed areas - but that is not what you should be using 10 inch shears for. They are quite solid and the finish is durable and darn pretty. These will last a lifetime, seriously, they are worth resharpening - though mine still have a razor edge and cut multiple (easily 3 layers) of fabric everywhere along the blade. I find myself using these instead of any other shears when I sew. I am writing this now, because after buying these quite a while ago - I wanted another pair and for less than 20 bucks... it is a bit unbelievable. If you are looking for a large heavy razor sharp shear... don't hesitate, you wont find better for the price (and no crappy plastic handles to break).

I needed scissors that woud cut upholstery material and they did exactly that. They are heavy and very sharp and perfect for my project. I was very happy with them.
