It's working well a year later.
Exact fit for my old Stanley operator. Easy to install. Garage door installer said this part wasn't available and I needed to buy a new operator.

Exact fit replacement for my Stanley model 570 Garage Door Opener
Replacement works perfectly for the original part (33-0256 Traveller Carrier). Installation was a snap - took less than 45 minutes to complete. Hope the new part lasts for another 35 years.

Good Replacement Part
My Stanley Secure Code garage door opener must be over 20 years old, since I understand that Stanley sold its garage door opener business in 1997 to another company that later went bankrupt. Anyway, I couldn't find a replacement part for the trolley/carriage (the plastic and metal thing that connects the door bracket with the chain that moves and lifts the door) with a part number that matched my original. But I found this (#49563 chain drive carriage) part, which looks similar. Also, some on-line discussion said that this part would work with my Stanley Secure Code opener. The price wasn't too bad ($16), so I ordered it. I then hired a local door opener company (after calling several, some of which would not work on my old Stanley or insisted on using their own parts) to install this part to replace the broken one from my Stanley opener. The labor was about $125, but the part works just fine. The part is 100% plastic (vs. the original having some metal sub-parts), but so far, so good.
