The bathtub mate is soft below the feet. It looks nice, and drains the water fast. There is a variety of colors to choose from.

I liked this mat so much i bought a second one and will probably buy more. It makes me feel completely safe both in the shower and on the one I step on when exiting the shower. I have used other things such the little sticky you stick to the bottom of the tub and still would slip. I do wish they were a little longer though. I squeeze soap from my washcloth on to it and use it to scrub the bottom of my feet also. I highly recommend this mat and to buy 2. One for inside the tub or shower and one to step on when you exit. You can wash it in the washer or take it out side and clean with a pressure nozzle if you prefer or even clean it in the shower or tub where you are using it.

I was looking for something to help me not slip in the shower. I have a textured floor in my shower. I tried sticky pads but they did not adhere well because of the texture so I thought I'd try a mat. It seemed that the vast majority of mats are secured to the shower floor with suction cups. Well I new that wouldn't work with my textured floor either. So I kept searching. I am so glad I did because I found this gem. It has a backing that is "non-slip". It adheres even to my textured shower floor. It doesn't move at all. And the mat almost massages my feet with it's texture. And the water drains through it just fine without clogging. I really like these mats. I highly recommend them for textured shower floors.

The only downfall to this product is the underside that is supposed to hold the mat in place , it came apart within 2 weeks. But the quality of the mat is pretty good and comfortable, just needs improvement. I would buy again if this problem is solved in the future.(Edit): Return was fast and easy , recieved a new one and has held for over a month now .

It stays in place that's the main reason you want one. The top is soft and springy that lets your feet find a enough friction to keep you from slipping. When done with your shower, just drape it over the grab bar, if you have one. It rinses clean and no smell. I bought two, both are the same quality and size. Worth the $.

UPDATE: While my review of the product still stands, the company saw my review and approached me to offer a refund. I did not ask for one. They did refund my money, which shows integrity on their part. I do appreciate it as I am low income and every dollar matters. I thought I had finally found something for my textured tub. I was so disappointed! The mat floats! It's very hard to get it up under you properly and any part not covered by your bum floats up around you. I am in danger of falling with weak legs and this sounded as if it would help. Again, it is hard to get it all flat, and it is VERY uncomfortable. The texture of it sticks to your skin and leaves impressions of it's wiry-looking surface.
