This mount has been a great addition to my business! I'm finally able to film directly over products without having a big stand over the products that create shadows. The only 2 areas I wish were a bit better is the 360 ball pin directly behind the phone mount. It's a bit loose and difficult to lock down to prevent movement. Luckily most of my filming is directly overhead versus vertically. Second area would be a slightly wider mounting bracket. I was unable to mount it to my butcher block table so had to relocate my filming to a better area where it could be mounted. But overall great product for the price and I would definitely buy a second one if I needed it! Highly recommend.

The part where the phone actually attaches doesn’t adjust or tighten that well. It’s quite finicky. It works fine and I needed one that would shoot straight down, so many just do selfie style. I think eventually I’ll get a better quality one but this one works fine.

I love this flexible arm. It's exactly as described and it's a better fit for me then the last one I bought by another company. I have a glass top desk and it does not scratch and its fits securely on there with no problem and it was easy to setup. It's sturdy and the arm basically swivels in whatever direction you need and it's reach is great. I suggest you measure your desk and how far over you would like the arm to reach if your using this for recording just to make sure it does in case your desk is bigger than mine and compare it to the dimensions shown. I have to remove my iphone 12pro from the case in order for it to fit snuggly but I don't mind.

Bought this for online classes so a laptop could still be used at the same time while the phone was signed in to the meeting. This has made it so much easier to take notes, reference text, etc. without missing anything the professors are showing. It’s also nice for watching YouTube and other videos hands free

I purchased this mount to record close-up content videos for with my iPhone 13Pro in addition to my Arkon SLR camera mount that would hold my Canon M50 overhead for my YT art channel. It worked well for a while, and for the price it was very affordable as a secondary source. I could manipulate it with minor issues, but nothing that was major…at first. The reason I am now reviewing and giving it only 3-stars is because it is literally falling apart and has become completely unusable. The phone mount portion where the phone is supposed to be held securely has cracked where it screws into place, and is now dropping chunks of black plastic on my artwork when I try to adjust the angle. It won’t hold the phone straight anymore, which is unacceptable, because it’s sole purpose is to be secure in its’ position. This causes me to spend extra time editing every single video or clip by adjusting them to a certain degree before importing into my editing software. My most frequently used & favorite editing app will not accept pre-edited content, so the close-ups in my videos are always a little “off-kilter” when I import them. That is not acceptable. In addition, the bolt where the mount clamps to my surface not only doesn’t follow the “right-tighty, lefty-loosey” rule, it will no longer LOOSEN at all anymore! It feels like it is permanently attached to my workspace at this point. My hands are aching from trying to turn it in both directions, and it absolutely will NOT release from my workspace. It is blocking my top drawer, because I typically mount it on the front of my workspace temporarily while I’m recording, so I can adjust it easily, but now I’m afraid it’s stuck indefinitely. If it damages the top of my new surface, we will have a new problem that someone is going to be responsible for replacing. While I did have this mount for about a year and a half, I wasn’t recording videos for 8 months of that time while I was designing new products, so it didn’t get the amount of use that would reflect this kind of “equipment failure”. I’m on a tight budget, so I always handle my tools with care, so this has been very disappointing. Just because you purchase something affordable does not mean you should sacrifice quality. I usually believe “you get what you pay for”, but I needed something more flexible than the Arkon mounts (I actually have two of them), and this seemed so perfect. I would have loved to have given this mount 5-stars, because the concept is ideal for this kind of recording. If customer service reaches out to me with replacement parts, then I’ll come back and update my review. Otherwise, I’m not sure what else to tell you but to keep it real as I’m known to do.

I use it to record reels at my sewing machine table while I work on projects. Very easy to install and position. Wish I had bought one sooner instead of one with a stand that stands on a desk.

The metal arm is absolutely perfect. Its definitely what I wanted, extremely stable and the clamp holds well on my desk. The phone mount however broke on one side limiting my options with it now, I've had it less than a month.
