Will this resin be ruined by being stored outdoors in sub-freezing weather while Amazon delays shipment?

If the bottles are not completely filled. Then at least they will not burst.
As to how long the substance is good for.
I am not an expert on that. I can make a few assumptions.
If storing out side is not too long. I dont believe it will harm it.
The freezing may even slow any deterioration.
This totally depends on the kinds of chemicals used.
Some chemicals can not take extreme temps. and may no longer work.
This can explain why I can not get my 3 bottles to work at all.

Does the resin get chalky if it's used for jointed figurines?

Nope, no chalk, no dust, it supports friction really well, it is quite amazing! So far this is the only resin I have found with that property.  However it is difficult to clean, it leaves a sticky glossy layer, so you have to clean your print with clean alcohol and a brush in order to get a matte surface. It is also more flexible and resistant than the standard abs resin, but not as tough as siraya blu.
