Make sure you pick up the formula that is NO MIX. This is the easiest way to tint your eyebrows at home. I absolutely love it. So so so easy. Many color options too.

Attention Ladies: Here's a great secret! I used this to dye my brows at the suggestion of my hairdresser. It worked great! Don't know that it will last the 8 weeks they claim, but it's better than the 3 weeks I usually get when using a salon. I did NOT use the comb - used a thicker eyeliner brush and it worked perfectly. Only used a tiny amount, so I could easily do them every 4 weeks. One note: The package says to leave 3-5 minutes. I had already left it on at least 10 when I bothered to read. Used a wet Kleenex to gently remove dye - and done!

I am NOT male! BUT female, and I have used this item to touch up areas of grey inbetween full hair colorings. It works easy and I use a small amount every few weeks so it does last awhile . Sometime is works great and other times stubborn grey at the temples are not always covered. (why I gave it 4 stars) I tend to leave the dye in longer than the 10 minute recommended time maybe 30 minutes or even an hour if I get busy and forget to look at my watch. Anyway it works for me. Some boxes have different applicators. I like the ones that are premixed but the ones I mix are okay. Some time I get the dye for mustache and other times I get a different kind like hair dye as long as i comes so I can use just what I need.

I've either been having my grey covered by my hair guy or using the Just For Men gradual grey covering shampoo. The shampoo does not do a very good job of covering my grey and I do not have much grey overall. This $9 tube of dye works amazing! I was shocked at the depth of the very realistic color. It doesn't look fake. You won't look like a ridiculous old man who box dyes his hair, provided you remember to do four easy things: 1. Purchase one shade lighter than you THINK you should. I have medium dark brown hair. I purchased the medium and NOT medium dark brown. Color 35. It delivered perfect coverage. 2. Perform a SECOND color one week after your first color. This will not only remove the lingering grays around your temples, but provide you with more even looking color. It also removed the slight red shine/tone that only one tube resulted in. 3. Most importantly... don't forget to do your eyebrows!!! I know you might be hesitant to take this advice, but trust me! It looks ridiculous to have your brows lighter than your hair and it's a dead give away that you dye your hair. 4. Wash and Condition your hair with color safe, sulfate free products. Do not use harsh Pantene or Head and Shoulders non-color safe products. If you don't, your hair will have reddish hues, the color will fade quickly and the grey will start showing prematurely. Your color should last 6-8 weeks if you use color safe shampoo and conditioner. I know that us men have a hard time deciding to dye or not dye our gray. Turning 40 a few years ago, I decided to turn back Father Time just a couple of years by using grey coverage. I am glad I did, because most people can't tell I dye my hair. I get compliments that my hair looks healthy and full.

If you’re considering tinting your eyebrows with this, I suggest you don’t. I know, I know, this isn’t made for eyebrow tinting but I know any girl that’s even looking on this product page, already has it in her mind that she wants to tint her eyebrows, or she saw a cool video on YT or Tik Tok. This may work for girls that already have beautiful thick eyebrows to begin with that just want a slight shade darker. But, if you’re like me.. and over plucked all your brows back in the day and hoping to cover that up with some tint it sadly won’t work. It literally made no difference in my whatsoever. I’m actually quite sad. Save the bucks, and leave this one for the beards

Where do I begin? Though it’s a novel idea to squeeze color out through a comb, the experience is a lot worse in reality. Here are the Cons. 1. Even though they say it has enough in the tube for 2 applications, there’s barely enough for 1 unless you have extremely short hair or balding. 2. As you can see the color on the box does not render the same color it gives your own hair so be very careful and select down in color. (See photo) They say the color shuts off automatically after 10 minutes so it’s not a case of user error by leaving it on for to long. 3. It’s extremely drying to your hair! The reason for this is because it doesn’t work on the same principles as conventional hair color but instead deposits pigment to the outer hair shaft. Pigment laying on top of the hair shaft gives your hair a gritty feeling of dryness. I had to use a lot of conditioner just to make it feel like real hair again. 4. While the applicator is a novel idea, it is much more messy than using a traditional applicator bottle. I think the comb applicator would be better for someone who has a beard or facial hair. So for the Pros…… 1. It is relatively inexpensive but around the same price as Clairol brand hair color. 2. It is small enough to travel with… for touch-ups. 3. It DOES render color within 10 minutes so if you need to color your hair quick and shave off an additional 10 minutes from the processing time, then this is for you. Most traditional hair color’s processing time is between 20 and 30 minutes. My conclusion……. This product is better suited to color facial hair or eyebrows because it processes very quick! Other than that, I was very disappointed in the whole experience. I would advise that you do yourself a favor and mix up equal parts of water and some bleach for the shower, in a spray bottle so you can spray down your shower after. I've purchased Just for Men hair color many times off the shelf here in Australia. This one I purchased online here on Amazon. There are many differences I experienced. Firstly much less content. I have short-medium length hair, barely covered my hair .. perhaps this was why the end result was so poor. I did not like the comb style appliactor and removed it to rub the contents into my hair. When it was time to rinse out .. the color was awful. Unlike usual experiences, it went everywhere and was so dark I had to scrub my shower for ages. Not something I usually gave to do. Finally to my utter disappointment .. the color didn't hold .. as per the photo. Still greys. Also you can see how hard it was to rub off my forehead by the redness of my skin. Unsure why this was such a difficult experience when my usual Just for Men hair color treatments are usually good.
