Dalstrong Valhalla 4" Paring Knife - 9CR18MOV HC Steel

These knives are great. They were recommended to me by a family member. The first time I used them they cut right through the food with ease. They are balanced and feel nice in the hand as well. From just holding them you can feel they are well made. They weigh more than the normal knives from the store, and the handle was beautiful.

For years I've been using a paring knife that came with my knife block but recently I've been doing Home Chef and I wanted a better knife. So after some research I ordered this one despite the mild panic attack at the cost. (Spoiler alert - It's worth it.) Aside from the form and artistry of the knife (which is beautiful), it's just... exceptional. My husband likes to say "Use the right tool for the job." If you are cutting veggies and such for cooking - this is the right tool for the job. It's so sharp and is so easy to use. It fits in my tiny hands (seriously, I wear children's gloves - tiny hands!) and I don't feel like I am going to cut off a finger. I liked it so much, I bought the matching Chef's Knife a few weeks later.

You have discovered Awesome knife delivered with a leather knife cover. Don't know what to do with the knife cover since they look better displayed on a magnet knife board. Just like any knife, Don't try to cut anything super hard. you might cause damage. Reward: you get to show off to your friends that you really love to cook and look cool doing it.

This knife is beautiful and perfect in size. The weight is balanced, the sharpness is true, and the quality is spot on. I have been looking for a quality and stylish knife and this is perfect. The value is worth every penny! I have seen that others have had tips break. I have yet to have even the slightest issue with the tip.

I love this Valhalla series, and I intend to have them all. This paring knife has been out of stock for a very long time and it was just put my back in stock so my husband got it for me as a gift. I am very pleased with it. It's sharp and it's beautifully made. Now, the issues I have with this knife out of the ones I've previously received...for the amount of money the knife cost, I feel like there should be more resin in the handle than what is actually there. My nakiri knife has a lot more in the handle and I am pleased about that. The box that the paring knife came in is different than the other 2 I've purchased. This one seems a little less valuable. The box is not colored like the other two and did not contain the paperwork that the other ones came with. It looks cheaper to be honest and I don't really like that. And lastly, I won't make this one a huge deal but the knife itself is very thick. It is sharp and it gets the job done. It's a sturdy blade. But for a paring knife, the blade is thicker than I was expecting it to be. Overall, I do like the knife. I just wish the packaging was the same as the other knives.

This knife is awesome. I love the weight and balance. The photo shows the difference between Dalstrong knives and price points. The one pairing knife come with a plastic cover this one has has a leather cover. This one is much sharper and much better balanced. The knife fits so well in your hand. I will use this for most of my chopping needs.

Absolute high quality knives. Extremely well made. I really like all the different series that are offered as well as other kitchen tools and items. They have some very unique items and one of a kind. I got some of the gladiator series for my oldest son and the show gun series for my youngest son for Christmas. I even got a couple for myself. These knives will last a lifetime and beyond if they are taken care of. I'm a very happy and will be a life long customer. Many more items I will be ordering in the future.

Qualité et belle apparence

I was a bit dubious about buying this knife as all my other knifes are Japanese Damascus but I'm glad I did its a great knife and also looks beautiful 😍

I'm extremley disappointed with this product quality. I have couple of knifes from this company, but Valhalla series is a joke. Rusted in 17 months and blade fell off the handle! NOT ACCEPTABLE!!

We have a few of the Dalstrong knives and this is an absolute favourite! It is sharp and cuts great. We love using it to cut vegetables.

It’s beautiful, but heavy for a paring knife, it’s very sharp l do like it for cutting meat.
