Does Eve Energy make a a high pitch audible buzzing sound when in off mode?

Not sure if I have a dud or not, but the unit I purchased directly from Apple has a very noticeable high pitch sound when off. Unfortunately this is a deal breaker for me. I’ve attached video so you can hear it for yourself.

Can you you it outdoors if covered in a water tight box?

I personally wouldn’t use it in an outdoor setting. But Eve does have a line of products built just for outdoor use.
