Do this work with a sharpener?

I d don’t believe they can be sharpened and they do not swivel either. I broke one open and it looks to me that we get to use only the point that is showing. However, for 50 cents each, I guess that is all you can expect.

Are these glitter or matte?

These color have a hint of shimmer. I love it because sometimes I like to wear something other than matte and I’m not into full glitter. So this product is ideal.

What kind of sharpener you suggest?

I used my normal make up sharpener.

some say you can sharpen it and some say there's nothing there but the tip, nothing to sharpen - can a few of you give me more info to know the truth?

I love these pencils. They are soft, easy to apply and are relatively water resistant. You can sharpen them but because they are so soft, sometimes the tip breaks off and have to be sharpened again. Try not to put too much pressure on the pencil and it seems not to break off. I will purchase these again. Hope this helps.
