I looked all over for a wheelchair for my dog who was in a hit and run accident.
There were many different varities as I search the internet and this looked like the best fit for my dog and the prices was right. The product is well made, very sturdy and was easy to assemble. The tip book was very helpful. When I first places it on Bueller, he started backing up and this made my husband worry. I looked inside the phamplet included and sure enough, he was acting normally and his 'backing up' was his way of backing out. In a short period of time he adapted and hopefully be using it less and less as he is gaining strenght of his back legs. I plan to donating to the local veterinary hospital once he no longer needs it.

Needs directions!
So having a dog that needs to be in a wheelchair is pretty stressful. My dog suffered a strange back injury, and while he is recovering the vet suggested we buy him a cart so he can remain mobile and independent. After spending so much money on the vet bills, we had to go for a more economical cart, and this wheelchair seemed to fit the bill. First of all, it took FOREVER to arrive. It took Nationwide Pet Supplies over 5 business days to even process the order. When we did eventually receive the cart, there were minimal directions provided. The directions kind of told us how to put the cart together, but there was no guidance as far at how the straps go on the dog, or how to properly adjust the cart to fit your dog's body. My pup is at the top range for this cart- 37lbs. But we pretty much maxed out the length and height adjustments. So having your carts based on weight rather than height is a little silly. My husband and I eventually got the cart on the dog (about an hour of messing with it), and took him for a walk down the street. It took the dog a while to adjust to being in the cart, but he did manage to go a block or so without stopping. Eventually we took the dog out to the country and hoped he would really take to the cart and running around. But then we came across a whole new problem- this cart is not made for wild dogs who want to run and play. Every time the dog would get moving, the cart would tip over. As I mentioned my dog has a back injury, and tipping over really isn't good for him. When all is said and done, I kind of feel like I wasted $200 and time. Maybe this cart is better suited to smaller dogs who just need to walk on a flat, smooth surface and not run/play.

Beautifully built aid for our dog.
This is VERY well made, easy to adjust to fit, worked perfectly. Unfortunately we had to return it per Dr. instructions post surgery. We got this because our dog blew both ACL's and meniscus and was going to be a while before we could get in to a surgeon. Dr. said this was ok, but not after surgery as she would need to be using all 4 legs. If there are pets out there who no longer have the use of their back legs, this is THE cart for them to use. Company and their customer service is A 1 all the way

Doesn't work for my corgi
Our corgi has hip dysplasia on one side, which makes one rear leg pretty useless. As a result he drags himself around using only his front legs. This product would have been perfect if it had worked. But it doesn't. It appears to be a close fit on height, but the directions on how to set it up are fairly useless. And theres nothing that describes either visually or in writing how to adjust the wheelchair harness after you assemble it. After a lot of trial and error adjusting the harness and even trying to figure out which side is 'up', the dog can't go more than a few feet before the harness comes off and he gets tangled in the webbing. The dog is trying, but it doesn't look very comfortable for him. This seems to be a case of both poor engineering AND poor instructions. There must be a solution at a reasonable price that works for corgi-sized dogs, but I don't think this is it.

Good Option
My foster pug has lost the use of her back end and she is just a terror in this chair. I wish there was room to add flame decals! It is a bit difficult to put her in and out due to the "floating" sides. Maybe I am using it wrong-but the side arms will fall out of chair when strapping on the harness. The top harness should open up completely - so you can just put the front legs between the chest and "belly" straps. Otherwise, this is a great option to give her some freedom and exercise daily.

It is overly complicted.
The cart was ordered for our miniature poodle mix. He weighs all of 14 lbs and his legs are 10" as measured the way suggested. The cart wheels were much bigger than necessary. The directions included were fine, but this is not just an easy item to put together. The leg holes are huge and much bigger than necessary. All in all the product seems to be "engineered" but it's overdone. You would think it was for a 50 pounder, not just a light little dog. The designers could come up with something much lighter and easier for the dog and adults to use.

LOVE IT!
We received this last night and LOVE it. It was super easy to put together (all you have to do is attach the wheel pieces), and the instruction manual is very clear on how to put it together and how to adjust the size (adjustable for height, width, and length). It seems like the instruction manual has been significantly improved compared to past reviews. Riley is a 20lb. cavalier king charles spaniel (15 inches height for the measurement they recommend to take). He took to it immediately and was running up and down the hallway... for a dog who can barely walk otherwise. I'm so thrilled and wish I had gotten this a few months ago! We'll see how it holds up over time, but I definitely give it 5 stars right now. My only feedback for the manufacturers would be to adjust the screws on the wheels -- because they stick out past the wheel, they do scratch walls. A previous review suggested covering them with electrical tape, which will be an easy fix, but it also seems like a small change they could make to the design to improve it.

Excellent tool for helping with re-hab after surgery. We have a standard dacshund, his long body and size (30 lbs.) required this product size however the wheels were to big for short legs. The seller was helpful and investigated on our behalf; however, their supplier was unable to exchange the wheels (8 inch small wheels with extra small wheels). The seller offered to accept a return or partial refund, whichever worked best for us. They tried very hard to be helpful. We kept the unit and changed the 8 inch wheels with 6 inch lawnmower wheels. That worked very well for little extra cost. Truly has helped our dog with relearning how to walk.

I had a problem with fitting my dog into this wheelchair. The chair was both too big and too small for my dog. The front harness wasn't sufficient in holding him in place securely (not that the front harness didn't fit him or anything). The issue was that the harness didn't extend far enough down the length of the chair to support the center area of his body. As for the back of the chair, where the legs slip through two loops, it also wasn't sufficient in holding him in place without his legs moving around too much. I think a lot of the problem had to do with the fact that he is a pug and therefor has an awkward build about him but I also feel that this wheelchair has room for improvement. It should have come with a longer harness and more adjustable leg loops. The loops can be adjusted but can only be adjusted so much unless one is willing to cut out some of the foam around them (which could be a mistake if it turns out that the dog still doesn't fit after that). Also be extra careful not to mistake this for the Sitgo version of the chair. They both look very similar in the pictures.

Whilst being a serviceable piece of kit it is not very robust. I have had to make some modifications to the height adjustment mechanism to ensure it stays set correctly. It is also quite a fiddly procedure securing the shafts in the harness. The market leader however is four times the cost, and a such beyond my means. Thus this is probably the best choice especially if you are on a tight budget.

Bought this wheelchair for my pet 10 year old pug due to problems with his hind legs. Took some time to assemble but for the rest it is a fantastic product. The dog immediately adopted to his wheelchair and was running happily around. I strongly recommend this product as it fits perfectly to 10 year old pug.
