Not bad taste, not too sure of the texture being syrup like. But it's high quality and drinkable

Blueberry flavor doesn’t fully cover the bloody taste of an iron supplement but it does help. Very thick liquid almost like gel. Used it in the second trimester of my pregnancy and it worked great

I would have given this 5 stars but the previous two bottles have been much runnier and prone to leaking from the cap when shaken. I feel that the recipe has changed and I'm not sure it is as effective as I found it to be originally.The taste is milder which I guess would be a bonus for some, but I quite liked the taste. It is still much more gentle on the guts than other iron supplements though.

This one is great and the only iron supplement so far that agrees with me. I only take half the adult dose, as I want to just have a top-up on my daily iron intake. Feeling the benefits already after 1 week of use.The flavour, is like any other iron tonic, in that it tastes of... iron. But this one tastes of natural blueberry flavour too, which is a bonus. I've found myself enjoying the iron flavour already.

This is the first bottle I've tried and it is a much more pleasant way of taking iron as it tastes just like fruit juice and so much more palatable without any metallic taste, stained teeth or digestive upsets. Far better than the horrible sickly ferrous fumerate I have taken previously. I do like the fact that it also includes folic acid, Vit B12 and some other minerals. I would be happy to continue buying but I feel like I am wasting quite a bit of it, because it is so watery and the bottle is not a great pourer - the liquid dribbles down the side of the bottle and off the spoon no matter how careful I am. I had been taking Feroglobin liquid which is more like a syrup and easier to take being a thicker consistency. I really like the Blue Iron but as it is more pricey it's a shame that I've lost quite a bit of it down the sink in dribbles! If it was a bit of a thicker consistency it would be so much easier to take.
