MR CARTOOL M60 GPS Speedometer for Car, Inclinometer Digital with Compass

Speed displayed on lcd screen is 1mph faster compared to car speedometer! Compass is just as accurate compared to FJ cruiser compass indications. Two options for power installation, either using a power cord utilizing the cigarette lighter or hard wired to a car power source. I hard wired my connection via fuse tap to turn on whenever my ignition is on. Very happy with the results and display so far!

Seems like a solid product for the price. I initially was just looking for an approach and roll angle meter for my Jeep. So the price seemed fair and I'm very pleased with all the extra features it has. Pretty easy to program, set, forget, and use. So far, so good. Highly reccomend for off- roading vehicles.

A lot of information displayed on a small screen, speedometer is accurate, not sure how accurate the altitude is as I compared it to 3 other GPS devices and they all read a different value but I think it is close enough, this one read the highest altitude of the 4. Tilt and angle gauges are cool though trying to find a perfectly level spot of ground near me to calibrate them was somewhat difficult😁. Wish the compass dial showed more points of direction as an analog compass does but its good enough. Overall I like all the features.

Got this for a 20-State road trip, crossing and recrossing multiple mountain ranges. LOVED IT! It was great for keeping track of our altitude, attitude, etc. I really wouldn't be without one, driving in high mountains. I don't use it as often, tooling around close to home in relatively flat Michigan, but it's still fun, and I may end up hard-wiring it into one of our vehicles (all hardware comes included.) It displays a lot of useful info. It also shines when you're trying to level the car, for car camping. It even looks cool!

I liked all the features and when I installed it, looked great in the evening and night time. The next day I went out to go off-roading and behold could barely see the display! The daytime backlight is so dim I had to block sunlight with my hand to be able to see anything. Install was fairly easy, but overall if I can't see the display, what's the use!? The speed is also not correct and there is no way of calibrating it to the correct speed while not moving. Also the compass is governed by GPS while you are moving only, so if you are in a tunnel system you are SOL. The 1st pic is the brightest in my garage; 2nd is dimmed mode for night use; 3rd is on the brightest while in direct sunlight. I'm disappointed with the daytime brightness, but will keep the unit for night time adventures.

At first I reviewed it worked one time and quit, well it's more like my brain worked one time during setup and stopped. I didn't remember or realize the on off button is on the cigarette lighter adapter. Mine is buried in a glove box bag and didn't notice i hit it everything I plugged it in. It really is a great product. I love all the features and I can see them while riding my RS1.

Great product! Too bulky to mount where I wanted ,easy fix if you split the case open to reveal the circuit board and screen. Some dremel trimming on your center console and you can mount it where you want it. Only two wires need to be tapped into a fused power source. Brought my '04 xterra into the modern ages with a factory equipped look .

I got this primarily for the inclinometer for leveling my motorhome at the camp site, but the other features are nice too. I doubt I'll ever go 40° in my motorhome, but if I do, the unit has a nice not so annoying beep letting me know I could be on the verge of tipping. The clock is handy as well (I don't have one on the dash), and the elevation lets me know if I need to adjust my engine timing for altitude (My motorhome is pretty old so I have to worry about things like that). Now for the things I don't like so much. The positioning uses China's Bai Dou constellation instead of GPS or GLONASS. As long as the unit doesn't have a "phone home" feature, this shouldn't be an issue. Chalk it up to my paranoia. I don't trust the government and the Chinese government much less so. Next is the dimming. There are only 2 settings and they are manually adjusted. Even the cheapest tablet has auto dimming these days, so I'm kind of confused as to why this is not a feature. The compass is a nice feature, but I wish it would give a readout in degrees. Lastly, the instructions are very short and not descriptive. Adjusting functions is extremely clunky and not intuitive imo. A few more buttons would have been nice. I'm still trying to figure out how to change from kph to mph.

The system updates too rapidly so that cornering and just regular driving makes the incline jump about rather than stay steady. Also there’s no option to make the compass rotate the bearing leaving the needle pointing north. I was hoping for a setting menu to change the sensitivity and also adjust the compass to needle always points forward. For the price - it should have these options.
