Junk harware
The hardware is junk. The bolts they gave to hold the wheels on, you would think would be the most important, stripped right out and caused the wheel to fall off while my son was riding. Total junk.

Sizing makes it compatible with most bikes/sized bikes and appears to be provide good stability. Reasonable cost. My only complaint is it didnโt have the nut required to put it on the bike. I had to source those myself. Other than that, great item.

It's a okay product if you can mod a few things before you use.
It's a okay product if you can mod a few things before you use. 1) Bearings are completely crap. If you skateboard or inline skate, ply out the original crappy bearings and replace with the ones your drawer that actually roll. 2) Do NOT mess with the black magnetic (?) hubs/ spacers inside - I don't know exactly what it is but do NOT touch. 3) Do NOT mess with the inner zig-zag metal hub - I don't know exactly what it is but do NOT touch. 4) Metal bracket/ spacers have got too short of a tooth. I ended up using the ones that came with my kids' bicycle. 5) Metal legs are okay but really long (to accommodate multiple bicycle sizes), so I also ended up re-using the ones that came with the kids' bicycle. 6) I put a couple of more washers to make it more "mechanically" sound and precise overall. so... basically more than 70% of components are provided by a user. (me). Thus, spending $18.99 on these training wheels doesn't really justify but, oh well, at least it's kind of fun to watch the wheels light up. My kids were impressed. See the video, you need to ride fairly fast to go all light up. Tapping sound in the video is me running after in slippers.... lol
