This was neither the cheapest, nor the most expensive toilet riser. But it was the one recommended by a family members physical therapist. After it was delivered to her facility, I saw that it was the exact same one that I had purchased years before for my spouses knee replacement. Easy to install, just tighten it on. Just yesterday, I was congratulating myself on my choice of raised toilet seat for four main reasons: 1) The chair is soft and comfortable; 2) The arms are perfect- much preferable to the ones with the elongated, dangly arms and legs that seem to take up the whole room; 3) This seat is also very portable, light-weight and discrete. When I have guests over, I just quickly use the convenient, big screw at the front to undo it, place it in the shower and hose it down, ready for the next time. I can manage this even though I am in pain from having just had a total knee replacement; 4) The other ones are so ug-leeee! This one is as good as it gets (for what it is, haha).
