Pet Wellbeing Pet Melatonin for Cats - Sleep & Thyroid Support, 2 oz

Works well on my cat. He is an outdoor stray who unfortunately had to be brought indoors to live permanently due to an attack. He did not do well with relaxing and also sleeping at night. I started giving him half the dosage needed for his weight in his food in the evening and he began sleeping nearly the whole night. Now that he has been indoors for months, he has a routine, and the drops are only needed once in while.

Does not work.

My 15 yr old cat suddenly started the late night yowling that she never used to do ever. My vet recommended melatonin because she’s ok otherwise. I mix about 1/2 dropper with a little wet food as a late night snack and she eats it up then sleeps most of the night. I tasted the stuff it seems sweet to me not really bacon flavored but at least my cat doesn’t reject it. The dropper has measurements marks that helps too. I’m glad my money wasn’t wasted on this one.

Wild cat doesn’t really describe my cat at night. He runs, jumps, yelps and does anything to be loud to wake the entire house. He is also picky so he wouldn’t eat the melatonin chews. So far this has worked for us!

My cat gained a tolerance to this. My doctor said to not use every day as this can happen.

Best thing I discovered for my 2 rescued cats. They truly needed the calming and settling of their anxietg .. Dosed per weight for each. Use once a day.

This may be one of the best things I’ve ever purchased! Mocha, my three year old cat, has been bouncing off the walls at night and increasing his play made it worse. His cardiologist (he has HOCM) gave the OK to give him melatonin and it has been a game changer!!!

The flavor is nasty, not anything like bacon, and my cat hates it. If you have a cat you are trying to help sleep buy a different product. If you purchase this you’ll need to force it into your cat’s mouth and it feels like torture! I tried a couple different tinctures with chicken flavor and my cat loves them. Don’t waste your money because they won’t allow you to return it.

My cat has a habit of meowing very loud through the night, and both myself and my Fiancée have tried everything to get her to stop. (We brought her to the vet regarding this issue, and the vet determined that it isn't any major issue like hyperthyroidism, but that she is just very vocal and seems to be bored) She gets lots of attention throughout the day, and late evening as we thought more playtime and stimulation would help to tucker her out, but it had no difference. This product has worked wonders. We mix it in with her food, (.33ml for her weight of 9lbs) and she devours it with no problems. Within an hour, she's sleepy and eventually out like a light. Unfortunately when she does wake up, she decides to meow again, but I'd rather have 6 hours of un-interrupted sleep, than sleeping 2 hours just to be woken up, and repeat. This product is a lifesaver. She's calm and sleepy about an hour after she has it, and it helps us sleep again. To whoever made this, thank you a million!

J'ai un furet de presque 6 ans ayant la maladie des adrénales et un insulinome. Malgré son implant, il perdait toujours son poil. Quelqu'un m'a envoyé une étude selon laquelle nous pouvons donner 0.5mg de mélatonine à son furet chaque soir pour traiter la maladie. Certains furets ont même eu une bonne repousse de leur pelage. Pour le mien, le produit n'a malheureusement pas fonctionné, mais mon furet était déjà dans les derniers mois de sa vie. Par contre, j'ai un 2e furet plus jeune qui a commencé à perdre du poil sur le bout de sa queue, un signe qu'il pourrait commencer la maladie des adrénales. J'ai voulu freiner la maladie avant de le mettre sur un implant (cela coûte cher) avec la mélatonine (0.5mg par soir), et ça a bien fonctionné ! Après 2 mois, son poil a vraiment bien repoussé sur sa queue ! La mélatonine a fonctionné pour lui !

I’ve waited a couple of weeks hoping that the product would work as advertised. Sadly, this product hasn’t helped our kitty sleep any better through the night. I’ve tried to increase dosage, change the the time I’m using it and even dosing twice through the night with no success. 😿

Ended up donating this to the SPCA. My pet didn’t react well to it. Not sure if it was the medicine or my pet. Had discussed with my vet before ordering. Pets may not react well to certain medications, just like humans. Monitoring them closely is always required.
