This great design saved me hundreds of dollars! I only have dumbbells up to 40 lbs but was nervous to use my Olympic dumbbells for overhead presses. After considering expensive adjustable dumbbells I bought two sets of these to see if they were better than my other plastic collars. I can literally bang the bar end on the ground with 25lb plates on and these don't budge. It's a much better design than the typical plastic collar. The 4 clamp points slide on much more snug to the bar and hold it much more securely when clamped. Completely comfortable doing overhead presses with Olympic plate dumbbells! I bought these on sale but clearly well worth the regular price!

Is quick and easy to use compared to spring clamps. Mine lasted almost 2 years of use oudoors in the shade about twice a week until cracking and becoming unusable on a moderately cold (right around freezing) day. Not sure I'll order another set unless the price comes down a bit or they make a more durable model. Would likely last longer if used in an indoor setting.

Bought these because I got tired of hunting down clips at the gym. They have worked fine for me when needed either bench pressing or at the squat rack. Held up so far without issue. If you need these because your gym doesn’t have enough clip I recommend these.

The name is appropriate. They do lock and they don't move. I have some regular collars for my other bars but my Titan multi grip camber bar wouldn't hold the cheap collars. These are great.
