What's the difference between this and collonil carbon pro waterproofing? they both say they work on suede.

Both products do work on suede. However, the Suede Spray is made specifically for Suede and Nubuck so the optimal product for that material is the suede spray.

Does this work on faux leather?

I only used it on suede like boots.

Can this be used on leather?

You can definitely use the product on leather as well. However, we do not recommend it for that purpose only because this product is missing a softener that is contained in the Collonil sprays made for leathers. Suedes do not need the softener.

Can this be used on black suede?

Yes you can definitely use the colorless/neutral on any color of suede.
