Great glassware, it’s held up in the dishwasher and it’s good quality.

It's good, clear glass. It fit a Western "Stubby" stick of butter with room to spare, and it looks long enough to fit Eastern (Elgin) Style. It's dishwasher safe, but a quick wash with hot water and soap and it sparkles. It kept the butter protected from stuff falling onto it but still allows in light to soften it.

I love this butter storage. A whole stick of butter fits perfectly in it and it’s great when serving guests at the dinner table. I also can just put the whole thing in my fridge after a day of using.

Good for standard stick of butter

Wasn't like either the photo [the lid of the dish I received is small with a handle at the top] or the measurements. When I looked at the measurements given, it seemed that it would hold a 500 g 'brick' of butter but it doesn't even fit a 250 g brick of butter. I will donate it as useless bric-a-brac to my local charity shop as it's too much bother to return the item - maybe someone else will find a use for it.
