Effective and Affordable
Iโve been taking this for three weeks and I am extremely relieved my acne has greatly reduced. Outside of my teenage years, Iโve had fairly clear skin for the past twenty years until last fall. My neck and jawline were breaking out daily with deep painful cysts. The infections were spreading and becoming deeper by the week. After trying a prescribed cream that didnโt work, I took matters into my own hands to find a natural solution. While Iโm not strict, my diet, supplementation, and exercise are overall well balanced and healthy. It didnโt make sense as to what was happening, until I realized I was experiencing hormonal acne. Iโve tried a couple other topical oils and supplements, but this one is the most effective. Due to desperation, I took too much too fast the first couple days and got a splitting headache. I backed off to one per day for two days, then increased to one in the morning and one in the evening. It seemed to prevent new cysts from forming the first week, but didnโt reduce the ones I already had. However, overall swelling was down by 50% by the end of the second week. I missed one dose during this third week and my face broke out immediately. I almost went to the doctor, but itโs now four days later and my face is almost clear after catching up and resuming the schedule. I chose this brand because most of the positive reviews are from other women. I also appreciate the high quality at an affordable price.

Hormonal cystic acne controlled within 4 weeks
I wrote a long essay on my hormonal cystic acne battle journey for the past 2 years, but I'll just cut to it and say my last act [before calling derm] of buying a whole mess of products to work on the acne worked (for the most part). Products I am currently using in conjunction with this: supplements: DIM Throne S.A.T. Burndock root face cleansers: cerave daily cleanser Green white bottle (only at night after using clean and clear first) Clean and clear daily essentials facial cleanser (use it AM and PM) Thayers toner with a drop of tea tree oil on cotton balll (AM and PM) serums: (apply both AM and PM) vitamin C serum vitamin B serum moisturizers: (apply in AM) cerave daily moisturizer blue white bottle cerave 30spf sunscreen moisturizer facial (i don't use this anymore because after applying serum and then this causes white flaking) Retin A moisturizer (apply PM) scar treatment (I got A LOT of post inflammatory erythema) mederma spf30 (apply AM and PM) After performing this routine for the past 4 weeks, active acne has slowed to a crawl. I only notice 1 or 2 small whiteheads int he morning which clears away after AM routine. I have been trying to keep a clean diet (before I would be eating burger and fries for lunch every work day). It seems something with high sugar content will cause whiteheads to appear within 4 hours. So I guess I'll have to keep being on a strict diet and just have a cheat meal once in a while. I'm too cheap to get scars and PIE corrected with laser treatment, hopefully this mederma stuff fixes the PIE. It seems to be working really well for recent scars but much slower for older scars. Well, hopefully this info helps someone with a similar situation. I chose the shotgun method and bought all these products and stuck with it for 4 weeks. With acne results it takes time, although I did notice results within the first week. and I'm pretty sure it was the DIM correcting my hormone imbalance. Everything else is just for skin care.

Good brand of Dim
Dim is essential to balance estrogen in both women and men. As a bonus this brand also contains Dong Quai. It also includes BioPerine to assist in absorption. I like that it does not have a lot of undesirable other ingredients. This is a quality product.

A TRULY 5 STAR BUSINESS!
Update: 10/22/2017. It's been a little over 3 weeks since my initial review of Evolved Organics DIM Elite. My wife has continued to take the EV DIM twice a day and has found some relief of her hot flash symptoms since our last review. The number of hot flashes has decreased somewhat and are less pronounced. Hopefully, they will continue to decrease as she continues to take the product. However, what deserves even greater praise then their product is Evolved Organics's customer service! EV, specifically Ashley, took the initiative to contact me regarding my Amazon review. They apologized for their product not being as effective for my wife as the first time we purchased it. Although I did not respond to the 1st email, they went ahead and contacted me a 2nd time and said that they had already issued a refund and is there anything else that could help me with. I did have a request that they were not able to help me with but Ashley was very patient and always immediately responded to my emails, even on the weekend. I commend Evolve Organics high quality customer service which is indicative of the high-quality and pure products they strive to produce. They truly have earned a 5-star rating in my opinion! We will continue to order from this company. Based on reviews, I first ordered Evolved Organics DIM Elite in March 2017 for my wife who is having menopausal symptoms, particularly hot flashes. Within a week of taking this product her hot flashes dramatically decreased. We were both ecstatic because we had first tried Nature's Way DIM Plus, which did not help at all. After finishing the bottle of Evolved Organics DIM my wife decided to see if the hot flashes would return. Over a three-week period the hot flashes gradually returned with a vengeance. We always had good results with Vitamin Shoppe products so, trying to save a few dollars, we ordered their brand of DIM . Although this product had comprable active ingredients (along with a lot of chemical fillers) it did nothing to help her menopausal symptoms. She tried taking this product for 3 weeks and was very disappointed that there weren't even minimal results. We decided to reorder the Evolved Organics DIM. However, we noticed there was a change in formula since we placed our first order. Dong Quai was added, so we were a little hesitant to order. Reading up on this herbal product we found out it's usually sourced from China and there could be some side effects for some people. Nevertheless, since she had such great results with the first order of Evolved Organics DIM, we decided to go ahead and order it again. She has been taking the new formula of Evolved Organics DIM Elite with Dong Quai for 2 1/2 weeks and, unfortunately, has not had any change in her hot flashes. We don't understand what has happened since this product was so effective the first time. She's very frustrated right now but says she will continue taking the product in hope that it will "kick in" at some point. We don't know if it had anything to do with the formula change but she'll continue taking it and hope for the best. What else can we do? It's very frustrating and often happens that companies change their formula or product and it's never the same. We wanted to give a completely positive review but we just have to be honest about it.

Starting taking for help with PMS/PMDD symptoms and found it also helped burn fat more!
My husband had switched to a organic hormone therapy and after several months, he revisited his doctor to discuss the effects he was expecting but not. The doctor being organic only, gave him a boost but also suggested him to take Dim as its an estrogen blocker. So he asked me to order some for him. I read over the reviews and noticed these were all really marketed towards women, not men. And the dosage she suggested was very low compared to what all the brands were promoting but I told him that was all I could find. He started taking it and I decided I would join him to see if I could tell a difference. I paid no attention too much, but several weeks later, I started noticing clothes fitting loose than prior. I was mainly hoping for a bit of mood relief for the monthly cycle, especially with being diagnosed with PMDD after my 2nd child was born. I was feeling better without the extreme irritability the day before and I was burning more fat. The product did not have appetite suppressing behavior, which was good, as I eat for fuel. Training Jiu Jitsu 3-5 times a week, I don\'t need to stop eating, but would like to see the efforts of the hard work paying off. I only dropped 5 lbs, which was great, but the fat loss was very obvious. I wasn\'t truly convinced until I met a friend for lunch and she made the comment that I lost too much weight and need to stop. I\'ve been taking only 1 dose every morning, and keeping it part of my daily regime. I like how the intent to take this was just to help with PMS/PMDD symptoms, not as a weight loss supplement. The fact that the supplement helped there, was a bonus and I feel so much better now that I have been on it. One thing I do recommend, I\'ve always done this at the suggestion of a doctor was to alternate supplements. What they meant was to take the supplements for a certain amount of time, but every once in a while rotate a different one in so that the system doesn\'t adapt to it based on the other ingredients that are added to them. I rotate between this brand and another brand and get really good continued results.

Good product, but all dim products have risks...
After learning about the research on dim and the impact of estrogen on bph, I decided to try this product. According to research, estrogen is responsible for allowing dht to enter the cells of the prostate, thereby causing swelling. Many studies on dim showed how well it works to rid the body of unwanted estrogens. Unfortunately, some men experience very bad side effects from dim, I happened to be one of them. My prostate swelled beyond anything I had ever experienced, increased my nighttime urination from 1-2 times per night, to 20-30. This massive jump meant I was one of the unfortunate ones... dim had INCREASED my estrogen levels, and had even caused overflow incontinence as a result. Overflow incontinence is caused by prostate swelling and can lead to VERY sudden urges to urinate, with only a tiny amount of urine being produced. In those 20-30 bathroom trips in the night, each one was only a few drops, which clearly was an issue. This disrupted my sleep to the point where I couldn't fall asleep until 5 or 6 am. Every time I would begin to fall asleep, an urgency would hit, beyond anything I've experienced before, which was instantaneous and left me feeling like my bladder was full, which kept me from sleeping. Some nights the effects lasted a full 8 hours after my last liquid intake! To give it the benefit of the doubt, I continued use for a week, hoping the bad effects would subside and lead to improved bph symptoms, however this was not the case, and my symptoms worsened by the day. I've since stopped. My flow has returned to "normal" and the overflow incontinence is nearly gone. So why did this product get a 3 star rating and not just 1? Well, it's certainly not the fault of the product, as it works well for many men and women, although, the manufacturer should have placed a detailed warning on the package. I was aware of this possible issue, but many others are not. Women must also be very careful, as dim supplements can cause an increase in estrogen for them as well. Since most of the women taking dim are doing so because of their high estrogen levels, they must use caution when using any dim supplement. I do recommend taking it for a while and stopping immediately, if side effects present themselves. Try to rule out any other medications or supplements before writing off dim completely as well. I cut out other supplements and tried dim a second time, with the same results. At least I know for sure.

Kept me from an IUD or hysterectomy
This is for the gals out there, guys you all may just skip over this, as it is probably TMI. I had a fibroid which caused me to basically hemorhage on a monthly basis. Between the huge blood clots, and blood pouring out of me (I could feel it), I would go through an over-night pad and an added super tampon every half hour. It was not uncommon, to wake up at night, with the feeling of blood pouring out of me, and soaking the bed. My blood work showed I was severely anemic and my doctor was entertaining the idea of a blood transfusion, as the high doses of iron and vitamin C, were not enough to keep me in a good range. That is when the Gynocologist I was referred to, said that an IUD would probably help. I had a Merina put in and that helped for a little over 2 years. The hope was to get me to menopause, so the fibroid would go away. Whelp, the Merina decided to move into my uterus, which to make a long story short, had to be dug out from the fibroid, which started to grow around it. The next month, I went back to hemorhaging again, it was as horrible as I remembered it. Locked in my house, not being able to go anywhere due to the extreme bleeding. Back to the Gynocologist I go, with options for IUD again, or a hysterectomy. I decided to go home, weigh options and do research. What causes a fibroid? High estrogen levels...that is what I learned from my research. How do you bring those levels down? What can I do to heal this or manage this? That is when I found out there is a chemical in broccoli that lowers estrogen levels, but you would have to eat lots and lots of it. I then found that this product contains that chemical, without eating so much broccoli (yes, I like broccoli, but way more than I can eat in a day). I bought this and tried it out, before making my decision concerning the IUD or hysterectomy. I am happy to report, I don't bleed heavy for a whole week, like I used to. It is much closer to what it should be. So much so, that last week, I had blood work done, asked the new doctor, specifically to check my iron levels too. Explained to this new doctor...why (we moved, so have a new doctor). Received a great report, all my levels are normal...I am no longer severely anemic, in fear of a blood transfusion. I have been on this supplement for two years to make sure it was not a fluke, I am happy to report, it's not.

Overweight & Have PCOS? This is for YOU.
I have PCOS and estrogen dominance. I rarely ovulate, if at all in the year and have very long cycles which can cause a period that lasts up to 3 months. I've been using Dim consistently for about 2 weeks now and I can honestly say that my typical symptoms of feeling like puke and overall bloating have decreased immensely, not to mention that I think my "period" finally has an end in sight for me. I take them in the morning with prenatals, women's gummy multivitamins, and iron supplements as I have a history with anemia. In addition, I have a protein shake for lunch or breakfast with regular chocolate chip protein powder, maca root powder, chia seeds, flax seed powder, and hemp seeds. My body is responding very well to the combination and I am not taking any prescriptions at all. I've lowered the intake of refined sugars and increased my green intake even with the supps. My mood, mind, and overall outlook is different and has a pro in its proverbial step. Side note: I'm overweight... And have lost 29lbs since late December til now of fat, not just water weight and I can honestly say that it's due to the change in lifestyle by including what I listed above. I haven't done anything crazy, no fad or crash diets -- just taking the proper supplements and making better choices.
