This product has been working pretty well for me over the past month! The wax is pretty much full inside the matte, rubber green case when you get it, and it smells pretty good. The wax isn't very heavy and doesn't have the strongest hold, but it does enough to give texture and light direction. The wax is easy to wash out even without shampoo, and it doesn't feel greasy when dry if you blow dry it when used on your wet hair. You get a decent amount of product for not a lot of money, so overall a great product!

Pros: - THIS STUFF SMELLLSSS GREATTTT!! - Really airy lift, this stuff is simply amazing!! - If you put the perfect amount, it makes it so your hair is soft, but it stays up - Packaging is extremely slick and modern - I've been using gatsby for 2 years now and I'll never try anything again!!! - This stuff lasts forever if you use it correctly! I can go almost 3-4 months on one bottle!! Cons: - If you use too much it makes your hair extremely hard and immobile - Dirt and hair gets stuck in between the threads of the cap and it gets kinda gross - The Gatsby is super green, so when you see your old black hair floating in the container, kind of gross I would highly recommend this product to anyone and everyone!! I've been using it for over 2 years and I can't get enough. After I get out of the shower, I lightly dry my hair until it is at the borderline of damp and dry. If you try to use this product while your hair is dry, it will not work very well (in my opinion). I work a little into my fingertips, and I touch the tips of my hair first. After I do that, I work the base of my hair, and then I run my hands through all of my hair. This technique really allows me to conserve the product for months on end and makes my hair extremely light and airy. I would highly recommend this product to all my friends and family. I know there are a lot of gatsby's to try, but if you want a nice light and airy one with medium to long hair, then try this one! I did not receive any money or compensation for this review. This is a great product, no doubt about it, and I really love the smell of gatsby (perhaps even addicted), but its really not for my hair type. At first bought this along with the pink one, wondering which one would be better for my hair, but then i realized both are just not good enough to even come close to styling my hair without the heavy use of hairspray. First and foremost, I most likely inherited the bald gene from my grandfather passed down via my mom (whose scalp is 85%+ visible, no matter how much she dyes her hair), and since my hair is very soft, very thin, and cant defy gravity, its a tremendous disadvantage for me as the years go by and more hair falls off. I've let friends use them instead, of all hair types, and they work absolutely well, with that extra gatsby fragrance to kick it up a notch, but no matter if my hair is long (+6in) or short (1-4in) neither the pink or the green gatsby wax products works. Hopefully other buyers will be weary as the wax tends to really stick to your hair, however extremely easy to wash off, and even okay for daily or extended use.

I have a medium/thin hair. This is the best hair gel I have ever used. It is light. It is non-greasy but it holds like much greasier maximum strength hair gels. Even after 10 hours, my hair still holds well. It only takes slight amount of this gel to stylize your hair. This is not for those who need an absolutely firm hold, but that's no longer in fashion these days anyway. If you want your hair to hold really well but yet still look naturally flowing, look no further. Pros: 1)Light. It only takes about a single penny size amount to stylize and hold my hair for at least 10 hours. 2)No smell or greasiness. My hair looks totally natural yet it still holds for a long time. I can pass my fingers through my hair and still not have feel any stickiness (it may take 1-2 minutes of blow drying to reach this stage). 3)No artificial looking hold. My hair looks natural. Cons: 1)You would need to blow dry your hair to get the maximum hold.But this is true of most hair gels. 2)Ideal for medium length hair but probably not the best gel for longer hairs.

Never really write reviews but this hair wax (moving rubber) is the product I have been searching for all my life. I have very thick, straight, medium Asian hair (mullet style) and this product actually works very well on my hair. Love how the wax is damp so when putting it in your hair, you can form it exactly how you want it without overly pushing down on a certain part of your head. Great product if you want more volume or going for a Korean look with the bangs flared up with a middle part. Styles like mullet, wolf cut, perm, even short-long hair on top with a fade. What I found that works is wetting my hair and using sea salt spray first. Then using a ceramic curling brush and blow drying my hair to form how I want it. Final touch is using the gatsby moving rubber then hair spray. This review is for guys who have similar hair types and have been waiting to find the right product or not knowing if you should buy this. TRY IT!!!

I've used the pink one literally for like the past 14 years probably. I've used some other Gatsby products that were very similar to the pink one as well, so this is the first time trying a different color ever since I changed my hairstyle. I don't see myself buying this color again, but it's not bad. It's definitely much lighter and less pasty than the pink one, so it's good for people with lighter/thin hair. I'm Asian so my hair is very coarse and thick and this wax does the job, but just BARELY. I'm going to supplement it with some hairspray tonight so that my hair stays in place/style. I do like that it smells nice, applies dry, and is easy to wash away from your hair and hands after applying.

I've been buying this pomade for years now and won't stop! The scent is light and fresh. It doesn't have a greasy feel to it. It holds the hair well together-helps keep my fly-aways down. it also helps give a little volume to my hair when I work it into the roots when my hair is down. A little bit goes a long ways, its a great value for the money! Highly recommend!

great hair product! Really well suited for med/long black asian hair. It's not too sticky when you first put it on, yet it has very strong hold all day. It also has a very natural look and doesn't leave a shiny greasy finish like most waxes. This is my favourite brand of hair products! I tried the pink one before and loved it, but it was very sticky and more suited for shorter hair (ie. didn't style as well). I think this one works even better for my purposes.

I'm mixed race, my hair is slightly wavy naturally and I keep it long enough to be styled in a middle part. I use this product daily and it is perfect for my needs.

Worked well. Small amount goes a long way. Was able to style my stiff asian fringe, which looked a bit like porcupine quills right after I had a choppy fringe done. Able to style hair even after a few hours of wearing. Has a slight shine and smells like apples.
