Quality cotton hat. As a guy with a giant melon (would be about a 7 3/4” fitted New Era hat) who is trying to move away from wearing toxic plastic (polyester/nylon/spandex) on my body I’m very happy with this purchase. The brim size is perfect as well; not too large but big enough to provide UV protection while at work/out in the sun. The color is nice as well.

Well, I like about this hat is that it’s made of cotton. When I got it, it was way big and loose on me and went over my ears. Then I unknowingly put it in the dryer and shrink it and now it fits my head! What good luck for me that I didn’t drink too much!The only bad thing about this hat really is a dark color which draws heat. Since it doesn’t sit right on your scalp the that is not too bad of a problem not in my neighborhood anyway where it never goes over 75. The string around your neck is good. Has a good clasp that keeps it where it should be unless it blows off the back your head really hard and then it might stretch out. That folds well but it does get lines in weird places when you fold it for a long time try to fold it in the place you want the folds to be. When it came in the mail, they were in quite strange places, and it was not good. The material is nice and thick so it doesn’t drip all around on the broom and it keeps the shape on the top and I like the groovy reef symbol because I am a surfer are used to be good cheap hat and I guess since it’s black, the dirt won’t show to look on the bright side. Now I just throw it in the freezer to clean it because that kills germs and bugs and things unless there’s a stain of course then I wash it by hand so it won’t shrink anymore.

Fits my big head. Bought an XXL because that's my size, and it fits true to size. Provides nice coverage and blocks the sun.

Quality seemed good, but a size chart would’ve really helped in this listing. The circumference of my head is 24 inches and this was extremely tight for an XXL. Returned.

Got a matching set for my Wife and I.The fit is true to what’s advertised, it’s comfortable and will wear in quickly to have a nice fit for your head.It’s light but nice material with built in sunblock protection.It’s held up for us on beach trips to hiking in the Rockies.
