I have used this twice already. The first time I used it I checked it at 2 minute intervals to see how well the color looked. It took 6 minutes to achieve the darkness I wanted. I used the medium brown. I was very pleased that it lasted 4 weeks. I did it again after 4 weeks and left it the full 6 minutes, and it did great! I will do it again, actually on the first day of each month (which is a little over 4 weeks). I am very pleased with the results! So easy to use! It sure beats having to use eyebrow gel everyday and sometimes having to wipe it off and start over due to it smearing, plus there is none on the skin; just the eyebrow hairs, which gives the natural look. Great price too! Lots less than a salon would charge!

I tinted my eyelashes (which you're NOT supposed to use this product for), but it works and I didn't go blind. The medium brown can be very dark if you leave it on for a long time. I'm blond, so if I were actually using this on my eyebrows, I would definitely go with the light brown and leave that on for as short a period of time as possible. The product was easy to apply using the brush in the kit and I was happy to see there was a small mixing cup in the kit. I was able to open the tint capsules with out much of a hassle or a mess. I did pour out just the amount of tint powder I thought I would need and sealed up the capsule with the remaining powder for later use. The product didn't stain my skin even though I left it on my lashes for quite a while (3 to 5 minutes). I used a thin layer of petroleum jelly around my eyes to help stop my skin from being stained in case I got the tint all over the place. This is indeed permanent tint. After 2 weeks of showering, daily face washing, creams, etc. My lashes are still very dark. You can see where they are growing out, though. I think I will need to touch this up every 3 weeks or so as my lashes grow.

Great product, excellent results! For years my hair dresser has tinted my eyebrows during my monthly hair color appointments. Within about 2 weeks, the eyebrow tint is gone from grow out and I spend another 2 weeks waiting for my next appointment to get them dyed again. I was nervous about trying this product at home after reading some of the reviews, but it turned out to be no big deal. I've used it twice now. You mix it, brush it on, and wash it off after about a minute or so. The whole process is quick and easy. It hasn't stained my skin. The first time I used the tint, I only left it on about 30 seconds. I rinsed it off with water and a washcloth but found that the color continued to develop. The darker my eyebrows got, the more satisfied I was with how my overall face looked. The second time I used it, I went ahead and left it on for at least a full minute. I wasn't even keeping track because while the color was on, I spent that time cleaning up the mixing bowl and brush and putting everything in the box and back under the sink. I rinsed with soap and water to make sure I removed all of the product and I am extremely happy with the results. Takes less than 5 minutes start to finish. I have blond hair and blue eyes, but my natural eyebrow color is light reddish brown and they would look barely there without tinting. The medium brown of this product makes my blue eyes stand out beautifully and I don't look like I'm all forehead and no eyebrows.

Once you wash you face a few times, the color disappears. This lasts days maybe, not weeks. And that's leaving it on the maximum of what they suggest in the directions.) I was a little afraid of this as I've never dyed my brows before. Glad I took the plunge! Make sure your brow area is free of any oils/serums/lotions. Slowly, carefully open a capsule and pour it into one of the two tiny plastic mixing bowls. Then use a same amount of developer (they indicate in the instructions about 1/4 tsp or you can eye it). Mix that very thoroughly. Apply with the little brow brush--there is a little eye brush and there is a bigger comb/brush combo. I applied it to both brows, being very careful and taking my time. I applied fairly thickly to make sure my brows were covered. Since I was worried about too dark brows, I only left it on about a minute and then I wiped it all away. But when I saw that they weren't too dark, I put another coat on a little thicker and then waited another minute, and then wiped away. I waited a day and decided I wanted them a little more defined so I applied as above, waited two minutes, and wiped away. PERFECT! It looks so natural, just as my brows are supposed to look! There wasn't any irritation; no redness or itching or breakouts or anything. My brows look great -- really natural. I checked to see if any stained my skin in my brow area, and I can't really see any at all. I can't tell I dyed them. I am curious to see how long this lasts, but it's so simple and so easy, and so inexpensive, I will just do it again as needed. And what made me happy is when I rinsed my face and wiped my face/brows with a white cloth, no color came away. That's awesome. Seriously impressed and what took me so long? I purchased this kit February 11th, 2022 and I just finally ran out! 4 years! Incredible! Just a little bit of the powder from a capsule mixed with a little bit of the developer and that's all I have needed to do my eyebrows every 2-3 weeks. Works like a charm. It may lightly stain your skin for maybe 1-2 hours then you can wash your eyebrows again and it cleans right up. I love this dye kit and I'm going to purchase another one. Highly recommend! Works like a charm and I cannot imagine my eyebrows without it now.

Set your fears (and gray eyebrows) aside. This product will take years off your face if, like me, your brows are sparkling with gray hair. I researched and read many reviews before selecting this product. I also need to thank other Amazoners who shared their wisdom in thier reviews. But their cautions had me so fearful I almost did not proceed. But hating my gray brows gave me the courage to try. So glad I did. My experience was uniformly great and I did not suffer any of the troubles or downsides reported by others. Just lucky I guess. Here is what I did. I wet a wash cloth with water and gave my brows a bit of a scrub. Patted the area dry. Took a picture of my before brow just in case the change was too subtle to notice (insert chuckle here since I know how this turned out). I mixed up the potion in a little cup used for serving boiled eggs. I first used a toothpick for stirring and finished up using the spiral brush included with the packet. I was a bit timid on the first eyebrow. I used just a little product and applied it with the slant brush. I was trying to keep it off my skin for fear of staining so I tried to get product just on the brow hair. I left on for two minutes and took it off with a wet, round, cotton, cosmetic pad. It came off easily with no staining. On the second brow I gooped on more product using the spiral brush and then smoothed it out with the slant brush. This time I smeared it on in the shape of my brow down to the skin. Again I took it off after two minutes. Better coverage using more product and applying it with the goop/smooth/smear technique. I decided I wanted a bit more color so I did it again on both brows. End result was excellent coverage with deep pigmentation. I had no staining and no stinging. The results are really amazing. Truthfully an instant improvement and no I did not need to compare a before and after photo to tell the difference. It was happily obvious. The most important thing I want to impart to other users is to wait longer than I did before applying the product a second time. The color still deepened after I removed it with the wet cotton pad. I may not have needed the second coat. Similar to the observations of others, I will note that the medium brown is very dark. Two coats of it is very dark indeed. I have ordered the lighter shade which I will experiment with next time. Even though my finished brows after two coats was darker than intended, I have absolutely no regrets. Funny how such a small thing changed the appearance of my face. I was paying to have my brows colored but no more. I can do just as well at home for far less money. Lastly, there is enough product from a single capsule to do the brows of several people. Gather up some friends with similar hair color and have a brow party, but no drinking until you are done!

Been using this for years, I like the results but I will say that each time I order it, the dye is slightly different. (I use the medium brown) Like you're not sure what you are going to get. It's weird and hard to explain, but sometimes the powder is darker, sometimes it's lighter. Oddly the lighter powder actually stains my skin more. I do love the look of my eyebrows tinted, but wish it lasted longer. It only lasts about 3 days max with washing my face, etc.

I love this product! I used to get my eyebrows tinted at a salon and that cost me $15 plus tip. I over pluck my eyebrows big time. My eyebrows are very thin and light. I color them in with makeup normally but I wanted something more permanent. Coloring them in with an eyebrow pencil always made them look more fake and powdery. So I thought I would try tinting them at home. I tinted them yesterday and I am so excited about the results. I listened to other reviewers. I cleaned my eyebrow area (with water). I mixed the capsule and the developer. I did put vaseline around my eyebrows to prevent the dye from dying my skin. I did one eyebrow at a time. I left the dye on 1 minute and 30 seconds and then washed it off. The results were great. I then proceeded to do the other eyebrow. The only downside was that the capsule was hard to open. So I took a safety pin and made a hole in one side of the capsule and that worked perfect. The hole was big enough for the powder to come out. The other issue was that the mix had a lot more dye than I needed and I ended up wasting some. Maybe next time I will try and use only half a capsule. The process was very easy. Even if you haven't gotten your eyebrows tinted before I am confident that you will be able to handle this! I'm not sure how long the tinting will last. When I got them done in a salon they said 6 weeks but they faded after about 3. If that is the case there are enough capsules to dye my eyebrows every 3 weeks for a year. I'm saving hundreds of dollars not going to the salon anymore!

This is probably the best dye I have ever used. Really easy to apply and it did not irritate my skin like most other products do. Will be using this product from now on.

Rubbish

The quality is not constant. I had to trow a new box in the trash but customer service replaced it.

Although the box doesn't specify about eyebrow tinting, it is perfect for it! I highly recommend this product for eyebrow tinting! It's not too dark and very easy to apply. The only thing is I wish it lasted longer. I assume that is because it is mainly for hair tinting but it tints the skin under the eyebrow too.
