Sensitive Skin Low Trauma Tape, 1 in x 4 yd, Pain-Free Removal, Hypoallergenic, 12 Rolls

This is by far the best tape we have tried for mouth taping at night to prevent apnea and snoring. We have used it for several years. Easy to peel off in the morning with no skin irritation at all. Be sure not to have any skin care products on either your face or hands when applying. If you are careful, you can reuse the tape two or three times. Just wind it back on the outside of the roll in the morning. Try not to touch the adhesive to keep it strong and fresh. It is important to not let your mouth hang open at night as mouth breathing causes apneas, snoring and going into the sympathetic nervous state (flight or fight). We use two vertical pieces for reliable results. There are plenty of videos on the web about the subject if you want to know more.

I use it to tape my mouth shut at night. Works wonders, and way cheaper than all the other products out there specifically marketed to mouth tapers.

Update from previous review: almost done using this roll. Such a gentle tape for mouth taping from mouth breathing at night. I started a facial routine with serum and moisturizers at night. This tape is so gentle, it will pick up the facial product and the tape will not stick. That’s the only downside so far. I have to get a new tape in the middle of the night. Still a great product though! Initial review: Have made many different purchases to mouth tape over my sensitive skin, and this one seems to be the best so far. I put on my moisturizer/skin routine about an hour or more prior to taping my mouth so the tape sticks. In the morning, I saturate the tape with hot water and slowly peel it off. My skin still feels a bit raw afterwards, but not as terrible as it has been with other tapes in the past. I’ve been using this tape every night for about a week and the mouth breathing/mouth snoring has improved a lot. I still snore through my nose, but not nearly as much as I used to, and my sleep quality seems to have improved.

I wish I would've found this sooner. I was using the leading brand of individually wrapped mouth tape. This tape roll costs a fraction of the price and works better. First, you can customize your strip size for bigger or smaller mouths. The tape adheres much better than the leading brand and you can even remove it in the middle of the night for a drink and reapply with no issue. It comes off easy in the morning, no residue. I haven't seen a single beard or mustache hair on the tape in the morning. The tape isn't breathable which is a good thing for me. The leading brand is somewhat breathable so I always felt that maybe I was mouth breathing through the tape. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase. The company should start marketing it as a mouth taping option. Of course, then they'll up the price. I guess it's better kept secret!

I could not live without this tape — And this particular pack of 12 is really a great deal!!! Some areas of my skin are ultra sensitive to the adhesive on most tapes (sometimes,even the 2” wide white Micropore tape which also often great choice for sensitive skin — especially in area near joints where the skin moves a lot). By “ultra sensitive” skin I mean even leaving most tapes on my skin for just a couple hours results in very fragile, red & inflamed skin that pulls off along with the tape, leaving bloody, painful wounds which then also need dressing... And, no, barrier creams etc do not help with that... Also, neither do medical adhesive removers like Unisolve or Detachol — two great products that do their job on breaking down the adhesive. While those two do help with less skin pulling off with the removal of all the irritating adhesive, they also burn like the devil — and so exacerbate the inflammation that the skin where the adhesive was gets so fragile and blistery that it will eventually split open or pull away just from pressure against the dressing from my pants or the car seat back or whatever). Forget completely about leaving any other tape on for a couple days as I’m supposed to leave some of my (very expensive hmm special “wound” dressings on for ... With any other tape the painful burning where my skin reacts to the adhesive (not an allergic reaction but an autoimmune kind of reaction) drives me so crazy the I simply cannot sleep ... Enter this beautiful, gentle blue tape which stumbled upon one day & bought in desperation as they were out of the 2” wide micropore tape I’d ven using, but with very mmune-related blistery wounds. This truly is the ONLY ONE FOR ME! YMMV* Yes, like the 2” white micropore tape, this doesn’t stick down quite as strongly as one of the waterproof, cloth, dressing tapes, but I still think it l lol deserves 5 star rating for adhesion because, for the type of tape it is, it sticks very well. *YMMV= Your Mileage May Vary

It does NOT come like the photo, in proper packaging branded as Nexcare. I got two loose rolls of medical tape. Not even in a bag inside of the shipping bag, just thrown in there. Super gross, I will not be putting this on my face (bought for mouth taping). This is an instant return for me. I can't believe a reputable company would ship it like this.

I’ve used this blue medical tape for my mouth tape routine, and it's been pretty good. This is my second purchase, and I find it gentle on my skin—it doesn't pull aggressively. I saw it on TikTok, so while it's been working for me, just keep in mind that it wasn't recommended by a doctor.

Use this tape to help seal ostomy bags for my handicapped wife and it is the only type she finds does the job.
