This book cannot be read o a kindle
I would love to actually review this book but it says its format is not compatable with my Kindle Oasis

Kindle edition does not work on Kindle
Do not buy the kindle edition of this book since it does not download on Kindle. Unsure what the problem is, ended up wasting my time and money.

Amazing
It is a welcome surprise to find a high ranking colonial official taking such pains to understand the religion of the colonized people. This book is remarkably free of slurs which appear in Western writings on Hinduism, even in our age. Anyone who wants to understand the Tantras should read it. Specially, all professing the Hindu faith.
