Acure Dry Shampoo - Non Aerosol, Clean, 100% Vegan - 1.7 oz Travel Size

I love this dry shampoo! I have tried multiple brands and have only been met with disappointment. I have blond hair and grease shows up fairly quickly. I can sprinkle this on my hair, rub it in, and then comb it through and the greasy look is gone and it adds some volume. I use this in between washes and after workouts and it doesn't disappoint. Its small enough to throw in my carry-on when I travel and I don't have to worry about TSA flagging it since it isn't a liquid or aerosol. Since it "lightens" my hair slightly, I'm not sure how well it would work for darker hair.

I've been using dry shampoo in a can for years (Batiste or Not Your Mother's). I've stopped using all can/spray things on my family because of concerns with benzene but dry shampoo was my hold out. With the recent recalls I've finally made the switch to this product. It's not as convenient as the can, I only wash my hair once or twice a week and I could get away with only using dry shampoo on day 2 or 3 before, this requires daily application from day 2 to wash day to keep my roots not greasy. I have long, light brown hair and don't find it to be too difficult to apply, just put it on your roots like baby powder and rub it in. If it's still a little "powdery" looking, a quick minute with my blow dryer at the roots takes care of that. I actually hate the smell of rosemary but the scent is very mild and goes away quickly. The bottle is small and easy to travel with. I'll keep using it.

I bought this for my hair more than a year ago. It does work ok for my dark hair but it takes a lot of brushing to get the powdery look out of it. It does absorb the oil well but I just really haven’t used it in my hair much. Recently I discovered another use for it. Use this at your own discretion haha I was curious if this could be used as a finishing powder with makeup especially for someone who has a lot of oily break through on their face. Disclosure: I do not have very sensitive face skin. It’s pretty resilient actually and I have only ever had a couple of minor reactions or issues with products. My face is kinda in the middle. Not really oily but not dry either. It def doesn’t dry out easy and I am able to use lots of serums, makes ups and washes without concern so I just want to throw that out there that my skin may tolerate using this stuff better than others. So I have tried it a couple times now as a finishing powder and WOW!!! Best finishing powder ever!! The shade of it is perfect for my skin tone and it looks smooth and matte how I like it. The best part is that it lasts all day and I do not get the normal oily breakthrough by the end of the day. Who would of ever thought?!!

Great texture and very effective but the brown is really more tan so shows in my hair even when rubbed in. Just wish the brown were darker.

I adore this dry shampoo! I've tried many brands and types (powder + spray) and have never felt truly pleased with the others out there. They either stink or the aerosol bothers me or the can or bottle is too big for travel or HELLO, THEY JUST DON'T WORK! Then, I found this little guy. So simple...nice light powder, works incredibly well, keeps my blowout looking fresh all week. This one is vegan, and while I'm totally not vegan, I do appreciate NATURAL as I am very sensitive to chemicals, scented products and skin-irritating ingredients, so if you are too, this is a great option. BTW: The scent is soft + subtle, and barely there, and that's important to me! I don't want to smell like a hair product. Oh, and I don't see a real build-up of dry shampoo on my scalp or anything either. It's light but effective. While it's little (so, it's easy to pack if you go places), it really does last. A little goes a long way. I think I order this like every month or two depending on my social schedule. So, if you're struggling to find a good dry shampoo because there are just way too many options (and price ranges out there) and you just want something simple, natural and affordable, this is IT! Give 'er a dry! I was going to say give 'er a try but GIVE 'ER A DRY!

Makes my hair and scalp healthy

Definitely a good product. As far as Dry shampoo goes. I prefer the powder over the spray all day because it last way longer. However, this was supposed to be for brunettes, and my hair is pretty dark brown. And this powder was pretty lightly colored. It definitely works. I just can’t put it on the very top of my head because it does make my hair look lighter on the spots where I applied.

This is on the expensive side for what it is (if I had the energy I could probably make it myself) but it’s pretty effective. My hair is on the oily side and I only have to wash it every other day if I use this in between. I was using a spray shampoo and it made my hair brittle and prone to breakage—my hair still feels nice and has a nice texture when I I use this. It has a pleasant smell, kind of a light herbal scent but not too noticeable.

No absorbe tanta grasa ni da tanto volumen como los productos en spray aplicando un cantidad equivalente. Sin embargo hay que aplicar más polvo para lograr resultados parecidos al spray. No deja residuos visibles. Lo mejor es que se logran resultados similares pero sin estar en contacto con los ingredientes tóxicos de los sprays.

I was a Batiste girly but recently have been very turned off of the aerosol stuff and these major benzene health claims etc. I googled best dry shampoos and this was recommended. Decided to try it, and wow am I glad I did. It doesn’t have that weird wet cool feeling that Batiste gave me which I felt actually made my hair greasier in the end. My hair is light brown and the brunette one is perfect. I haven’t noticed any chocolatey/scents and my scalp isn’t itchy like Batiste made it. Definitely recommend this product and will be repurchasing! A little goes a long way and I feel like I’ll have this one bottle for a while

I wanted a dry shampoo without the nasties In aerosols. This does the jog but you need heaps more product and can be quite messy to administer but safer to use in the longrun.
