Plant-Based Chick'n Noodl' Soup, Vegan, 15 oz.

I love this soup so much! When I’m feeling under the weather, this is my go-to to feel better. The aroma is almost exactly he same as *real* chicken noodle soup, the flavor is a little bit different, but that’s always to be expected with a meat substitute. I like the consistency of the soup, though maybe a little on the thick side for me, so I usually add a half can of water to it, then some vegan chicken salt to ensure the flavor isn’t compromised. It is already fairly salty, so be cautious if intending on adding more. The veggies in the soup are delicious and not too mushy. The “chicken meatballs” are very tasty as well. Gardein makes excellent vegan food.

Good taste, good quality, reasonably priced.

A bit more expensive than average at just under $3US a can (as of this writing), but worth it as a vegetarian (or vegan) as it’s hard to find canned soups that provide enough protein that aren’t cream and dairy based (Aka: loaded with fat and calories.) I love that Gardein has branched out into soups - these soups are my go to when I’m overhungry (hangry) & I need to eat fast so I don’t eat a bunch of junk food or rip someone’s face off. The chick’n based Gardein soups are my least favourite flavours - which still isn’t bad because they’re still very good soups - but I find them to be a little bland out of the can, so for me, they need a bit more punch in the seasoning dept. I like to add a little black pepper, some garlic powder, onion powder, celery salt, dried sage, dried parsley, maybe a little powdered soup base or bouillon if you have some handy? But 30 seconds of zhjujing/amping up the seasoning, then you pour into a bowl or mug and microwave for a couple of minutes. Voila! Tastes like homemade in less than 5 minutes. Yum. Takes me back to being a kid, sick at home with a cold - but this is waaaaaaay better than the Campbell’s chicken noodle of my childhood.

This might be my most frequently chosen soup. The chicken pieces have gotten a little smaller, but with a larger quantity and I think they could do it a little more to have more small-bite pieces. It's the perfect kind chicken soup experience.

This soup tastes okay. The noodles are quite large, the consistency of the broth is a bit too thick for me, and it is really salty. One of my children is allergic to chicken, so i wanted to have a “chicken” noodle soup in my pantry that he could have if he was unwell- much like my other child has Campbells. This is absolutely better than not having a quick “chicken” noodle soup on hand for him, don’t get me wrong- but overall it is just okay.

I have no problems with this soup.

Absolutely inedible. It smells like cat food and the noodles were complete mush. I love Gardein products but this is a total miss.
