I love getting my snails from this company! They all arrived alive and healthy. Very nice size snails! I even got one great big gold guy! They acclimate very well and take off almost as soon as they are put in the tank. I would highly recommend ordering from them. This is my third shipment and every time I’m very impressed at the quality, size and assortment of colors. They ship really quickly and are packaged very very well in plastic cups with wet paper towels and wrapped in bubble paper and placed in a sturdy box. Will always order from them.

Large, all alive and cool colors. I'm enjoying them. They were quickly chipped and arrived in 2 days.

I received the snails earlier than expected, which was nice. They are all a gorgeous arrangement of colors as well. My only concern it's been over 24 hours and none of them have come out of their shells. I have purchased others from an aquatic store and have never had one die, so I am not sure how to tell if they are shy or dead. It was very cold here in PA when they arrived and I am afraid it was too much for them. Edit: I changed my review because upon waking up this morning all the snails were floating on top of the water with a bad odor. They never came out of their shells and arrived dead. I tried to seek reimbursement or replacement and it is prompting me to send the snails back. There is no way I am going to send dead, rotting snails through the mail. I am happy to send photos to prove they are indeed floating and dead.

I’ve ordered before but only 3 snails at a time and I usually get all dead, 1 alive and 2 dead, 2 alive and 1 dead, so I was skeptical about buying 10. When I got the package, I opened it up and there was no foul smell so I figured they were alive. Put them all in warm dechlorinated water and the first 5 all popped out and was gliding across the tank all energetically. The next 5 took a little longer coming out the shell but they all arrived alive and healthy😊 very happy with the results and I’m excited that I got 2 white ones 😍 so cute to look at but I’m very happy at the outcome and how they all survived. Thank you very much! Plus the delivery date was Nov 27 but they came November 22. Love the fast shipping

Shore Aquatic was very cooperative about quickly replacing a few of the snails that didn't survive shipment. They replied to my email inquiry within an hour.

First I will give them credit for customer service which is why they have 3 stars. I will also give them credit for the box they used which was well lined with insulation and a cooling pack (100F plus out during the TX summer). Now for the issues. 1: My first batch arrived over the weekend and had stay all weekend with the Postal Service. A business shipping live creatures should have a shipping map so they don't let boxes leave when they could be stuck over a weekend. 2: My first batch arrived in poor shape with certainly at least 1/2 dead when I got them on Monday. I know this because of their smell. 3: I don't think their packing for the snails is the most smart. Shipping them will stress them but so will having them out of water for that long. While the boxing was great the snails were in 2 small plastic cups with moss and a damp paper towel. These are snails that live almost 100% of their lives under water having them in a damp cup for several days isn't the best idea. They should be in a bag of water. 4: After a few days all of my first batch was dead. I contacted them and they were responsive and did send me a replacement batch. 5: This group arrived faster as they did not get stuck over the weekend. But immediately I could tell they were just as overstressed from shipping. Pretty certain that a couple were DOA. Followed all instructions and still these guys weren't doing well. 6: Final note.... Second batch pretty much all dead after 2 weeks. I THINK 2 of them are just barely hanging in there and I have very very little hope for them. Notes on my stuff: My tanks are peaceful fish (all Mollys). My tanks are old, clean, and well cycled. I have 2 older mystery snails I got locally and they are doing fantastic. I don't know the water these snails are born in but maybe that should be included so you can try to gently move them to the water where they are delivered. I would like to see these shipped IN water in the future as that would be far better for them. I'm sad that out of 20 snails I'm down to maybe 2 and I don't have faith they'll survive.

Bigger then expected, healthier then expected. Some were hungry right of the bat, some were sleepy, and one was in serious need of fresh air. After satisfying those need they began exploring the tank with an enthusiasm and agility that was truly delightful to behold! One note: would recommend quarantine for a few days and careful observation. As hours after adding to the tank leeches were observed inching across the substrate and snails. Careful inspection and removal was required. This is common but can kill snails if not done promptly.

Ordered 10 snails. Received 10 assorted in size and color. Good mix and packed well. 6 were moving within a couple hours of arrival at 3pm. 2 more were good by morning and the last 2 were moving when I got home from work. All survived the shipment! I ordered on Monday evening and they arrived on Wednesday afternoon. Temps here were in the 40s daytime and 30s at night. Thanks so much!
