Great product with equally great customer service!
I used these rods to reattach the valance (the part that hangs down from the splash shield to redirect airflow) on my wifeโs 2013 Ford Mustang. I donโt mean to brag, but between me and the JOUNJIP plastic welding rods, I think itโs on there better than when it left the factory. It was my first attempt at plastic welding and given that I am not in the least mechanically inclined, I was surprised at the results. Then again, it was a fairly simple job and being as it was underneath the car, appearance did not matter. Then I had a project where a question arose โ which plastic rod to use. You see, from doing research on the subject, I found out that you canโt use just any old plastic for welding. If you use the wrong kind, it wonโt stick to the item you are welding. So, you have to match the kind of plastic you are welding to the kind of rod to weld it with. I had a compass (one that reads out on my dashboard display) that mounted below the rearview mirror of my car which had a tab on one side break off and it would not stay in place. So, I decided to repair it myself. It was either that or buy a new one, but new ones run anywhere from $50 to $60. Now Iโm not cheap, but Iโd rather spend that money on other things, and if I can fix it for free, itโs a no-brainer. Besides, because I am not mechanically inclined, everything that I fix gives me experience, as well as a boost of confidence. And that may not be worth 50 bucks, but itโs worth something to me. Unsure of the kind of plastic I needed to use from my assortment of JOUNJIP plastic welding rods, I called the company phone number on the package and spoke with J.R., who was very helpful. Incidentally, J.R. wasnโt in some call center in Nagpur, India. This was J.R. at JOUNJIP in West Los Angeles, California. He asked plenty of questions, provided explanations, and had me send pictures of the item I wanted to repair. Then he talked with John, who came in later, to get his opinion. Between the both of them, they provided me with the information I needed to make the necessary repair. The whole project did not go exactly as expected. The tab I welded on it was much too large and not exactly in the right place, so it broke off as I was trying to reattach it. As this was a very tiny repair, coupled with my lack of experience/skills with plastic welding, I was not really surprised. However, what I did must have been enough after the piece broke off, what was left seems to do. At any rate, the compass has been in my car for over a week now, and it isnโt dangling by the electrical connecting cord. In the end, I saved at least $50 purchasing a new compass and I found a company that backs its product with excellent customer service. So, purchase this product with the utmost confidence that it will handle your needs (well, as much as your skills will allow it to), and the full assurance that you are not alone in your plastic repair projects.

Seems to be good quality
These have not been used yet but first look appears to be of expected quality and design. I expect them to work as intended when needed.

Nice Variety of Plastic Rods for Repairs
I bought this assortment to repair a variety of plastic parts, and it's nice having the most common plastic types all in one kit instead of trying to buy them individually. The rods are clearly labeled by plastic type, making it much easier to match the repair material to the part being welded. The assortment gives you enough of each type to handle several repairs, and the rod diameter worked well with my plastic welding setup. If you're getting into plastic welding or want to keep a selection of rods on hand for different repair jobs, this kit is a convenient and well-organized option. I'd definitely buy it again.

They work well with two hands
They work awesome as long as the piece your working on hasn't broken off already with no way to hold it in place and use both hands.

Saved me $800 already. See photos.
One little misjudgment of the backup angle and three pieces of plastic trim popped off my wife's favorite car of all time. All of the connectors remained in their holes on the vehicle, but several plastic tabs that held those connectors broke off from the Mazda trim pieces. Why did you make this plastic so thin Mazda? We decided to try our hand at Plastic Welding using these JOUNJIP Plastic Welding Rods. We also purchased the Allturn Upgraded Version Plastic Welder, Plastic Welding Kit for $36. For under $50 we saved ourselves $800 already. There are 7 different types of rods in the kit and it took a little bit of research to match up the correct type of rod to use with both the Mazda trim and the refrigerator door. I used a couple of clamps to hold things in place. I tried another set of hands to help, but between the high hear and the small working area, the clamp proved easier. Go slow. Be careful. You could save hundreds as well.
