Great milk alternative for diabetics
I developed gestational diabetes during my last two pregnancies and despite having dropped a lot of weight, I am still considered pre diabetic. I am also sadly lactose intolerant. Unfortunately, it wasnโt until after my last pregnancy that I found out how awful oatmilk is for diabetics because it absolutely sky rockets your blood sugar levels. Which may be a reason why my diabetes has carried into my postpartum era. Anyways, I was told by a dietitian that most milk alternatives raise blood sugar levels exponentially. However, coconut and macadamia nut are the two that are your best options. Now, with this being said, I have switched to the macadamia nut milk for my overnight oats, protein shakes, and chia pudding and they all taste great. There is no overpowering nutty taste like that of almond milk and it is not sweet or toasty like coconut milk. To me, itโs the closest taste to regular milk when used in prepping items that call for milk. I have never been someone who enjoyed drinking a plain glass of milk and will not drink this on its own either. I will say that the texture is about as thick as vitamin d milk and it unfortunately does not froth in my milk frother. Also, it does not taste good as an alternative to oatmilk in coffee. Overall, I have found it to be a great milk substitute that is still relatively versatile and not terribly expensive.

Creamy, Smooth, and Neutral
My husband and I don't drink cow's milk because I try to keep my carbs fairly low, and he is lactose intolerant. It doesn't matter that much to my husband, because he only really uses it as an ingredient in things, since he has never been a big milk drinker. I, on the other hand, used to drink milk as my primary beverage and loved it with pretty much every meal. I really miss it. So, I have tried pretty much every unsweetened milk alternative I could get my hands on -- you name it, I've almost certainly tried it (soy, almond, coconut, hemp, oat, hazelnut, blends thereof, etc. etc.). I had never come across macadamia milk before, though. So, when I saw it on sale for Prime Day, I jumped on it, even though it was a 6-pack. It sounded pretty good, since I'm a fan of macadamias. Plus, I figured it had good potential for milk, since they're such a creamy nut to begin with. And wow -- no regrets. This milk is so rich and smooth, with none of that "off" aftertaste that most milk alternatives have. It still isn't dairy -- so don't go in expecting that. But that said, it is the closest I have ever come to finding a true milk replacement. This is actually enjoyable to just drink by the glass or with a meal. In particular, it's not too thin, and it doesn't have an overly distinctive, in-your-face kind of flavor. It's neutral and goes well with almost anything, which is what I always loved about cow's milk. If you've been searching like me and haven't been satisfied yet, I definitely recommend you try this stuff. I was not disappointed, and I doubt you will be either.

Great product
Great tasting product, packaged really well. A bit high proced compared to almond milk or other non dairy but a great price for macadamia milk.

Unsweetened version is excellent on milk...less awesome by itself, but not bad, either
This review is for the unsweetened version. I quite like this macadamia nut milk. Maybe three years ago, I gave up all dairy and eggs for a bit over a year because I'm not comfortable with how animals are treated in factory farms. During that period, I used soy and almond milks, but I ended up going back to milk (trying to find the most humane brands offered in my area) because I just didn't feel good physically. A couple of years later, I'm now suspecting that I've developed a lactose intolerance as I've gotten older, so I started looking for alternatives and found this. When I use this on cereal, I really don't notice a difference between it and milk. I think it's great on cereal. Yes, it definitely tastes different than milk, but the cereal masks that for me. When drinking it straight, I think it's at least as good as soy or almond milk...which means that I don't think it's awesome, but it's not bad at all. The containers are very convenient. You don't need to refrigerate this until you open one, although I do keep mine in the refrigerator so that they're already cold when I want to open a new one. No question, I wish that the price was lower. At the moment, it's a bit more than twice as expensive as the milk that I was buying, which is already over twice as expensive as regular milk...so, this stuff isn't cheap. But, I like the taste on cereal and I feel fine after having it.

unsweetened has a vanilla taste, otherwise pretty good. Shelf stable. Great for smoothies
I eat what I eat and drink what I drink because I love food. I'm not vegan, keto, or anything but an inspired eater. I enjoy nut milks for drinking, baking, having over cereal, and for smoothies. Not a fan of most of them for coffee as it always lends an odd flavor. For that I stick to heavy cream, half and half, oat milk, or go black. I make an exception for their Milkadamia Macadamia and Coconut creamer. And so being pleased enough with that, I decided to try this UNSWEETENED macadamia shelf stable (until opened) milk. This has a decent flavor, though I pick up on a vanilla taste that shouldnt be there. I could not use this in applications that I dont want any added flavor. So I will be using this for smoothies, which is fine as it was my main reason for getting it. I buy cartons of non dairy milk, but I like keeping the shelf stable boxes well stacked in my pantry because I dont want a lot of cartons taking up space in my fridge. I am not the type to go to the store every day, let alone every week, so I keep a balance of fridge items and shelf items. For whatever reason, they do not include a picture of the nutritional profile. Lots of other pictures of the container, but not a single on of the important information??????!! Why? Another thing? ingredient list is off. The calories per 8 ounce serving is 40, not 50. There are 4 servings per container. Do not freeze Refrigerate after opening (use within 7-10 days) INGREDIENTS (for unsweetened option): macadamia milk (filtered water, macadamias), calcium phosphate, natural flavors, pea protein, sunflower lecithin, locust bean gum, sea salt, gellan gum, D2 I would consider this again depending on the price. The unsweetened is currently $11.96 for a pack of 6, which is quite reasonable for about $2 per carton. I keep an eye out for sales, and never buy at full price.

Highly recommend
This is my favorite dairy free, plant based milk. It has such a nice flavour and is great in shakes, coffee, tea or with granola and so much more. It isn't super watery and lasts for quite a while while sealed.

Great new creamy milk substitute w/ b12
I bought a pack of six to try this new product out. I am slightly lactose intolerant and try to avoid animal products anyway so I have used milk alternatives for years and probably tried them all. I really like this product and i was unsure i would because i don't really love macadamia nuts! This product is creamier/less watery than many soys, almonds i have tried - but not excessively so. And importantly, it doesn't separate into flecks in coffee which some of the higher end brands do. It has a different taste than the unsweetened almond milk i had been using in my coffee for over a year and that took some getting used to. It still does taste slightly sweeter, but the taste of my coffee (no sugar) still comes through loud and clear with only the bitterness muted which is my number one criteria for any milk. I have also used it in cereal and oatmeal (great! Because its a little more creamy less chalky than others) and hot chocolate, the kind you make only w milk. Adding to the good taste, i like supporting a small environmentally friendly family owned business and i like its ingredients/health attributes which are better than most brands, especially the addition of b12 which as a sometimes vegan, i don't get enough. I try to avoid soy because i already get so much of it hidden in many food products and almonds are obviously straining the drought challenged resources of California, so very happy to have another "type" of milk to look to.

Great taste
I used to buy an Australian barista brand. But these ingredients are a tiny bit better. I truly canโt tell the difference. Iโm absolutely sold on macadamia nut milk.
