HunterSprinkler PCC600 PCC 6-Station Outdoor Irrigation Controller

This controller box is a perfect replacement for my old one that has died on me after 12 years. Easy to install. Be sure to take pictures of wiring and rewire same way. Setup is slightly different than my other box but not enough to matter. Took about 30 minutes to mount and rewire. Would have cost twice as much to have an installer do this for me and it isn't that difficult to do yourself.

6-STATION ONLY! That is what I needed and that is what I got - perfect replacement for my old 6-station Hunter controller. Easy hookup and worked perfectly out of the box, just read the instructions and take your time. My old Hunter unit had slight differences in the method of control, (the functions were all on the dial), but if you read the instructions, this model is just as easy to program and operate. The unit seems well built and is definitely suited for outdoor use. I mounted mine on the exterior wall of the house where it is somewhat protected by the overhanging eave. My only gripe would be that it requires the use of a key - I don't anticipate anyone tampering with my sprinklers, so it might have been nice to offer a unit with just a weather tight latch.

This irrigation controller is easy to install and use. As the other reviewer stated this model is not expandable. I also bought the wrong model thinking I could expand it later. I kept it and installed it but will have to buy another one later if I need to add more zones.I bought this to unit to replace an older controller from a different vendor that did not have the programming flexibility I needed to comply with the drought restrictions on watering here in California. This unit has programming that is flexible enough for most situations. If you are concerned you can download the manual and see if it does what you need before buying.The actual installation and programming was very quick. Just read the manual and follow instructions.

NOT expandable. I have used these for years, great controllers. I did not catch that this one is NOT expandable as the earlier have been. THIS SHOULD have been noted. Unfortunately, I will have to purchase ANOTHER unit to cover my expanding needs.EXCELLENT controller, spendy for being just 6 stations. Easy to use, large lettering and easy to read dial and intuitive programming, no need to read the book.Quality construction and easy to mount.

This is a Great product. And supplier was very helpful in my purchase. I Only returned it because I found the ribbon wire connector had come out of it's socket on my original one. It now works well.Thank You Jamie for all your help.

I had a lightning strike which blew out my irrigation system (among other things). My Uncle was able to install the new Hunter Sprinkler box in no time at all and everything works great!!

I already had the indoor version of this box at my residence. When we needed a new box for the HOA common area irrigation system, I picked up the outdoor version. Same intuitive interface and reliable mechanics/electronics, just with an internal power supply. We lost power for 3 days during Irma and it remembered everything (time, date, programming) when power was restored.One note - when installing outdoors, I would recommend silicone caulk around the wire openings to keep little critters from setting up residence inside.

Perfect replacement for an older model sprinkler control. Works great and was easy to install and use.
