It’s a very good light
The battery life does not work More than two hours I don’t know if the problem is the one I got or all of those lights but overall it’s a very good light

Piece of rubbish light
Rubbish. The light faulted and their support did nothing to fix the light. Never by from this company

Fantastic, but too much for me
Oh, wow. OK, straight at the top, if like me you’re just an enthusiastic amateur photographer you probably don’t need this light. I’ve tested more than a dozen LED lights at various price points, and most of the time there’s no need to read the instructions. You just turn it on, attach your diffuser or honeycomb, pick your colour temperature, adjust your brightness and you’re all done. Here, though... good lord. It took me a couple of minutes of cycling through menus before I even got the light switched on. There were just too many options for me. As a rule I don’t read the manual before testing a product as I want to know how idiotproof it it, and trust me when I say that this thing is not built to accommodate idiots. You have to know what you’re doing to get the best out of it. Once you figure out how it works, though, this may be the best LED light I’ve ever used. At max 18W it’s much brighter than pretty much all of the competition, and at the same size and weight as similar 10W lights to boot. The colours are even, rich and impossibly bright for such a little box. Unlike most other LED lights - which usually only offer two linear controls for temperature and brightness - the Atomcube comes with all sorts of complicated settings on its crisp, bright display, though who knows what they’re for. After half an hour of playing around with this thing I was left with only two conclusions. 1. It’s fantastic. 2. It’s too much light for me. If you’re a pro or semi pro and you’ve felt limited by the range of LED lights in the $100 price range, try this. It’s a different beast altogether.

No more app
I returned these because there isn’t an app. It has been removed from everywhere or doesn’t support current android, no way of getting it working. Also the silicon defused fit strange and was a bit annoying. If you’re fine without and app and this silicon play, otherwise a solid light, wonderfully bright.

Great Light, bad app
The light is phenomenal. It works great, it has many settings and is very bright. I'll be using it for my 3D scanner since it is a CRI 95+ light. I do have two complaints though: 1. I ordered this, it arrived and looked like someone had removed some stuff from the package. I reached out to Amazon and the sent a replacement. Problem solved. 2. I downloaded the app on my iPhone and I can't seem to adjust any settings. It only shows me a grey screen when i click on the RX7. I can turn it on or off with the app(as long as the device is switched on), but that's it. Hopefully that's fixed soon.

Fantastic accent light
I have three other mini RGB panels in a similar price range and this is by far the best. The ability to easily control the light from the app via Bluetooth makes it a great competitor to the Aperture mini RGB panels. The candle/fire/lightning effects are the best I’ve found in this price bracket and are very believable when properly used (bouncing them off a reflective surface will result in a much more ambient feeling than pointing the light directly at the subject). There are also settings to industry-standard colors for various CTB and CTO “gels”, which is great news for colorists. My only complaint is that there’s no apparent way to view the exact percentage of battery life, unless I’m missing something, but no instruction manual is included. Overall, it’s a great light and worth the money! UPDATE 7/12/21: Now having two of these lights, I can confirm that they sync up to the app very well and are easily controlled from your phone. They have also held up really well so far and my original comments stand. The only additional feature I wish these lights had, having used them for a few months, is a swappable battery versus a built-in battery. I wouldn’t recommend these for anything over an hour or so, since when they’re dead, they’ll take about an hour or two to full recharge again. They do function while plugged in and charging, but at 100% power, they drain faster than they charge. Still, these are great accent lights.

Broke in less than a single battery charge. Pilotcine customer service was rude and unhelpful.
Had this thing for 2 days, barely used it. Never left the house. No drops, no moisture, no cold. Nothing. The function toggle suddenly starts acting wonky, adjusting setting at random speeds, and acting as though the function button is being pressed in instead of up or down. This makes it randomly switch between what setting you’re adjusting while trying to adjust an individual setting. I sent videos to their customer service, they were rude and blamed me and my settings. When I change my settings to everything they asked me to and followed all of their directions for hardware resets the issue persisted and they still blamed me after another video proving the issue remains. After proving to them with objective video evidence their rep told me this is normal for the buttons and light, but then also said I’m the only one who mentioned it. Do not trust this company. They will not support you. I’m so glad I’m in my return window, this thing is going back immediately. Yikes!!

fragile
I got the Atomcube Rx7 a week ago, worked fine and I was pleased with the product, on the 1st production day it has worked well and hard for about 2 hours, ever since then, I turned it all and the Red hue has died, no drops, no damage what so ever, I turned it on and the Red does not work at all, it effects a lot of my work right now and I'm very disappointed with the Rx7. just a heads up.
