Flair Espresso Maker PRO 2 (White) - An all manual lever espresso maker with stainless steel brew head and pressure gauge

After i bought it i used it for only three times and the rubber inside it doesn’t hold pressure anymore, and it was rearranged not as good as new when i bought it, they called me asking for a five stars review, i asked them how can i fix this problem with my warranty, they said it’s not our problem, an Indian girl calling from dubai, two years warranty vanished. Pretty simple to set up, very easy and quite fun to use, exceptionally good espresso. I used UK company Pumphreys, Mocha Roast, that I ground very finely, for my first cup. I don’t ordinarily weigh coffee but followed Flair’s guidelines and put in 17g. The espresso I got was exceptional in taste and the all important crema was perfect. I really like this machine. The fact that it is manually operated makes it satisfying and more interesting to use. It also looks great on a work top and is top notch, build quality wise, it’s also a lot more compact than I thought it would be. The carrying case that comes with it means that it’s portable and the supplied tamper is high quality too. I probably shouldn’t have had three cups of espresso this late in the evening but I’ll have another in the morning to pull me around from what’s likely to be a very small amount of sleep tonight. Also, it arrived one week early (imported from the USA) which was great. Really pleased i decided to buy this. It’s perfect.

Die Maschine verlangt einiges an Know-How und eine dezente Kaffeemühle um überhaupt trinkbare Ergebnisse zu liefern. Auch muss man ein wenig masochistisch veranlagt sein, um für jeden Espresso den Aufwand mit Vorheizen, Tampern, Zusammenstecken, (fest) Drücken und Putzen zu betreiben. Sie ist daher nur geeignet um wenige Espressi zu machen. Die Flair Pro 2 ist also definitiv nichts für jemanden der unkompliziert einen Kaffee möchte, sondern für den Verrückten, der sich in in jeden Aspekt des Kaffeemachens hineinfuchsen möchte. Und hier bekommt also eine Maschine, die einem alles ermöglicht, jeden Aspekt erfahren lässt und keine Ausflüchte ermöglicht. Denn der Kaffee ist so gut wie man es selbst ist.
