I bought this Vinsani Retractable Reel Clothes Line for my small garden, and it’s been an absolute game-changer. Bought this October 2022, found it to be very useful and functional. No issues with the mechanisms etc. Love the abilities to retract the line, very good for when the grass needs cut. Simple to install.The plastic housing has broken after almost 2 years. Need to order a new one as the holes which hold on to the metal wall bracket have burst which is annoying.

Easy to set up and to adjust the length of the line. Once thats done, really convenient.

Really happy with my item, make sure you wrap it round the bottom of the item to get a tite line!!! as at the start. I didn’t know this and thought I had a broken line…. Really good and staying up and steady.

I bought the exact same washing line 4yrs ago and have been very pleased with it! It has been used an awful lot and has even been out in strong winds but unfortunately, the other day, I noticed the bottom plastic bracket had snapped and so it was wobbling around on the wall.I decided to purchase a new one and as I was paying for someone to take the old one down and replace it with a new one, I ordered this one again. I thought it would make life easier. Plus, I had been happy with the previous one.Today, I was hanging washing out for the first time and as I was still hanging it out, the line just snapped off completely, at the end, where it hooks onto the wall! (Not the box end)I couldn’t believe it!! And was so disappointed!I had still read reviews on this, before purchasing and had seen some negative reviews but as my previous one had lasted 4yrs, I still ordered another! I wish I hadn’t bothered!I don’t know if it is made differently now or whether I was just really lucky before but I really wouldn’t recommend this now!I have to say, I don’t know how long retractable washing lines usually last and whether 4yrs was good or bad? But 2 minutes and a couple of items on the line, is shocking!I contacted Amazon who are refunding me for the item.

Has broken in two for no apparent reason whilst in use at 15 metres long

This automatic line is great. It has 2 good lengths of line so will take a good couple of loads of washing to peg out. The recoil on it is good, but doesn't quite pull the final bit of the ends tightly into the device, but it's good enough to be honest. Twisting the line around the plastic brackets when you extended the line can be a bit tricky until you get used to it. I've used a rotary line for years and I must admit I'm glad I've gone back to a straight line again, the washing dries much quicker because it can blow better in the breeze.
